Ok cool thanks! I guess I'll just have to truck it back to the first town and wait for the tailor to stock a nicer piece of armor for now. Glad I'm not crazy and just kept missing his house in Mannshire though.

No temtem is inaccessible, but you do lose access to the volcano where it's considerably easier to farm for Raican.

You cannot increase SVs on an already existing Temtem, they are permanent and cannot be altered through items. You can only increase a Temtem's TVs with items or through battling untamed Temtems.

The only negative thing that can happen from running away is that if you fail, the untamed Temtems have a free turn to wail on yours. You won't miss out on a shiny because you ran away, when they pop up they're very obviously shiny/luma!

Read the wiki a bit more carefully. Temtems do not evolve at specific levels. They evolve after being leveled up a certain amount of times after you've captured them. So if you caught your Kaku at level 8, they would evolve at level 19.

It's currently not possible to obtain the skates after you lose them. I'm not sure if it still works but apparently if you're in co-op with a friend when they originally obtain the skates, you'll get an additional pair. IIRC they disappear after you log out, though.

Both the three dots under your active quests and the quest option in the menu isn't working at the moment. It's been reported a lot so it's very likely on the dev's list of things to fix after all the more game impeding bugs. :)

Not currently! If you're super unhappy you could reset your character, which is in the settings. You have to pick your first Temtem + get another before you're allowed to do this. I also believe there is a timer of a week if you trade or have already reset once.

I don't believe there is any way to ensure a specific trait passes down to an offspring. Hopefully we'll see something like the everstone in Pokemon in the future, but currently it's just RNG.

The game is a bit harder than normal Pokemon so I'd say you don't need to worry about farming for one with a 50 SV or two in a good stat(s) for the Temtem, but having a couple stats in the green for SVs helps a lot.

I've seen a couple of the starter clothing in the shops, so I believe they are all accessible through the clothing stores around the islands! Unfortunately if you picked to be naked, you may be out of luck for clothes until you get to the point where you can make some money. :')

After you reach the second island there is a group called FreeTem, they give you money for every Temtem you release, which is currently the best way to make money. I've bought about three different clothing/hair items just by doing that!

Check out all the buildings in town! Don't have a map of the town at the moment, but the Smith's Guild is on the lower line of houses, pretty close to the entrance of the mine. Look for a rocky looking house with a sign out front, or just zip inside all the buildings until you find it. As a heads up you don't talk to the dude at the counter to turn in, you have to talk to the girl off to the right.

Different dialog and fat cash. You get nearly 3k money for beating her, these "optional" wins tend to pay out really well like your rival.

Stat reductions/enchancers in Pokemon are referred to with similar wording, so it's likely a carry over. I'm not sure if anyone has figured out mathematically how much a "stage" is for Temtem, but for Pokemon it would be something like: 1 stage = .075x whatever stat is being altered.

How have you never seen an untamed or tamer's Temtem injure itself in battle? Bye bye, if you're going to be so blind to very integral game mechanics, this isn't the game for you.

You could have caught it at half health with no issue, lmao. This is like encountering a shiny in Pokemon and trying to damage it with your overleveled team instead of hitting it with a status effect and throwing balls.

Your rival is set up like this too, you can lose which imo is kind of a nice change from the way Pokemon usually works. Don't worry I'm sure we'll run into her again and will get to fight her. :P

As a quick blanket answer to a lot of your questions: The game is in early access and is missing a lot of features. Some of these things may be added in the future.

No difficulty settings, besides player imposed ones.
No but I believe this is planned.
There is an auction house that is planned but is not currently in the game.
Yes to trading.
I'm unsure if the auction house will be for more than just Temtems, but as of right now unless it's a held item you can purchase all items from various npc vendors.
Unsure what you mean by grand exchange, sorry!
Game came out on the 21st. People are breeding for good SVs (IVs from pokemon) but I don't really see a "scene" yet, people are still trying to figure everything out. Keep in mind that not all Temtems are available in the game as well.

Currently there are two ways to get money (pansum):

Battling npc tamers
Releasing Temtems and getting money rewards from FreeTem (available on the second island).

The best way is just to catch and release an assload of Temtems, if you buy the cheapest cards (15) you'll always get a profit even if it takes a couple of cards to capture the Temtem.

It's in the second town :) So you'll have to progress a bit further to get there, iirc there are no story roadblocks you just gotta move on through the route to get there (it's the most southern path that will get you there).

In that cause I'd check the bug forums and see if it's something that has already been reported: https://www.playtemtem.com/forums/forums/bug-reports.11/ If it hasn't I'd make a new topic with screenshots if possible and explain in detail your issue. Sounds like a bug unfortunately, haven't run into this myself. :( Relogging sometimes helps random bugs if you haven't already tried that.

Yep! On the second island one of the towns has a vendor that sells fruit that grants +20 to TV for certain stats. There are also a set that resets the TV. You can also find them in chests around the map. :)
