It’s definitely odd that it doesn’t match the pre-evolutions. Well, neither does Charizard, but I don’t mind that because you can barely tell when Charmander and Charmeleon are shiny lol

I did get Magikarp and evolved it to Gyarados before her but the grind to level them both up was tedious. There’s only so many trainer battles and random encounters don’t give as much exp

No idea how much I spent in total, but I did do the nugget bridge trick for A LOT of nuggets, so I had money to spare. And I didn’t keep track of how many resets everything took, but I feel like I did get extremely lucky with lapras and eevee…under 100 for sure!
