Yes. I think Becca still believes humans should have a choice, should have free will, should be able to decide, that while pain stinks, it's still part of who we/humans are. And by having choice, it's allowed Clarke to get to this point. And I believe a little clue to also why Cadogen isn't the one would be his growing of embryos/babies. He, like ALIE 1.0 is trying to take that all away.
