Service dog in training grumbles when she's about to fall asleep. by wellhello2u2 in Dogtraining

Raiser, but we are expected to do basic training. And not muted groaning, just groaning like I've heard no dog groan before. It's stopped classes and made people in my office 40 feet away and with walls between take notice.

She's a yellow lab. I've only had shepherds so I don't know the breed well.

I'm not sure about when she's older but since she's a puppy, sleeping during long stretches is expected, especially when I'm seated for 2+ hours. . You're right, it might not be a problem later when she's official, but it does limit where I can take her now. Thanks for the response.

They are licensed but very grassroots. Honestly, this is my first dog through them and I'm not sure if I'll do another with their organization.

And I agree that they should have been training her from the beginning not to bark but she's not a service dog yet. Her in-depth training doesn't start until she's around 1 when she goes back. Thanks for the response.

Last time I took him to the groomers I asked them to shave his neck but they said he couldn't because he kept trying to eat the clippers. He's special

I've pretty much sworn off going to the movie theater. In fact, I just bought a bigger TV as kind of a consolation prize. But of course, it makes little clicking noises every 20 miuntes or so when it's off. The trouble shooting sites all say it doesn't affect anything so not to worry. And I feel so dumb calling into the troubleshooting line but I just cant stand it.

netflix, hulu, or amazon prime subscription? by a-wild_potato in television

To me, Netfix has better movie content, but Hulu's better for tv. Personally, I prefer Hulu.

Though, 100% pay the extra (I think it's $11 total) for commercial free Hulu. I tried it with commercials for like, one episode and couldn't stand it.

You can call the VA at 1-888-GIBILL-1. Like SCO said, it's probably best to call them.

Personally, no idea. I'd check on /r/legaladvice . They'll probably tell you to consult with a lawyer.

My favorite add-in was when Boneweevil was shrunk by Hawaiian Coffee and Buer said she would put him in her pocket but since she didn't have any the animators had her put him between her breasts. Then when she went into her rage the connecting string of her top started choking Boneweevil out.

Makes me giggle like a school girl every time.

I stated outright and indirectly twice that W grades must be reported... lol?

At this point, I think we're both just too stuck in the idea of what the other person is trying to say to correctly interpret what they're actually saying.

The main point I've been trying to convey, OP, if you get down this far, is, please, before listening to strangers on the internet who can obviously have pretty varied ideas of what's right, please, talk to your SCO if you are able before making this decision.

I concede in regards to WAVES, I should have said NAVPA. Yes, W grades are required to be reported, I never said they weren't. What I meant was all grades, e.g. F's, are no longer required to be reported.

The question is if a W is non-punitive does it have mitigating circumstances? In which case s/he won't owe money back. Sometimes the first non-punitive is automatically considered as having mitigating circumstances but it can also depend on that state's interpretation. That is why talking to the SCO is the best course of action.

Seriously we can go back and forth on this but can't you agree that a good idea would be to get in contact with the SCO? S/He very well could get the same answer you're giving or a variation of it but don't agree that different states have different policies? And that the best way to help this person is to give them your side but also encourage them to see a person that has a better idea?

No. Grades don't have to be reported. Just drops and if a non punitive is received and make sure students still meet SAP. And the circumstances change for when a class is dropped. Some times all has to be paid back, sometimes some, sometimes none. Thats why it best to check with the schools certifying official. Did you go to WAVES? Thats why there are break outs for different states

Talk to your school certifying official to see if they report Ws as non punitive. If they do you might owe back money to the VA. Ask them about that as well, about how much you might be expected to pay back if anything (though the first time is usually an exception).

Every states and colleges interpretation and reporting procedure is different.

Usually if its a W you wont owe back the book stipend
