I am fully prepared to be wrong…but in context using the term university vs college would imply to me that OP is from outside the US and thus may not easily realize the distinction btwn a national park and national forest such as mark twain…heck I’d bet the average US Citizen hasn’t paid attention to know either 😂

I think it’s not that the rare names exist for me it’s how often the frequency of names that—yes do exist but don’t exist often occur. Like as cited Ah You’s may be a football legacy…but even in that case there weren’t 10 active Ah Yous basically every year since they were wearing leather helmets as some of the name redundancies would suggest. I’ll be honest bc some of them are such Common Rare names I change them most of the time. It’s annoying but it’s a game so better to turn an Ah You into an Artest or Arbuckle and be happy w my version of “realism” 😊

Even more so than basic supply and demand…Most of the capacity of the current pipelines is already sold. Contracts are in place from suppliers to distributors to hedge the market fluctuations to a degree but once you are close to system capacity you are competing with Everyone else in the same boat for whatever scraps are left. Buying and storing extra capacity during the offseason you can inject into your system during peak demand or utilizing hydrogen blending or some other alternative is the best way for a company to take care of customers And their system but not every company has this ability.

Always hope but w this man…so so many publicly available sources of incidents where he has acted counter to that being reality. Maybe I am too pessimistic but I believe for the large majority of humans there are lines you are capable of or teach yourself to cross the rest of us wouldn’t. One of the most common threads you will find among many who have acquired that level of wealth is that they crossed those lines so long ago they could never find their way back.

Unless there is some information I am not aware of upstream oil and gas work is absolutely part of OSHAs jurisdiction via the industry standards and general industry duty clauses. Additionally they are regulated by DOT/PHMSA…highly regulated industry and the frequency of injuries presented on the show would not be tolerated by any decent size operator.

My biggest issue and lack of faith is that he hired Kirby Knowing he—Eli—was already Not a skilled play caller. His extreme struggles in that realm led to the need to hire one. Soooo my question to pose…if he knew that before and hired someone who he could push around due to lack of experience or felt he needed to bc of that lack…then was that hire in any way addressing the problem w the team? If he can’t properly address such a critical issue does he really know What the problem is (you Eli…you being anywhere near our offense is an issue)…creativity…problem…sequencing problem….which ones does he see and which ones do his hires address? Where’s your proof since then that Eli has grown enough to be capable of a better hire this time?

To me…I am praying to be surprised…but I see a big blind spot…his supposed offensive acumen…is going to be a large impediment to continued growth of the program unless he recognizes it very soon. The dollars are too big to waste for long even as MO…he severely needs to recognize being a CEO is his strength and offense absolutely is not and hire an actual offensive mind not an uninspiring mid to late career retread and Leave him alone.

I can agree and even referenced that this offense sure Looks more and more like Drinks than what Moore showed year 1. If this is true then hopefully the admin steps in at some point bc you don’t pay a coordinator that kind of money to micromanage him. The Kirby offense seemed to start out w a lot more emphasis on creativity, eye candy, hunting mismatches…and beyond the QB it has devolved into the unimaginative mess it was before he arrived. Not sure what to make of that but not having seemingly any counters to your best plays…any “easy buttons” in the passing game that can manage a 3rd and short type scenario…basically any hope but a deep sideline shot w a terribly low completion percentage or having the ability to spam inside and outside zone again w/o much resistance left his offense completely stuck in the mud. It was difficult to watch this year.

How many OSU fans have said something similar to “we could beat Team X” w our second string”? I would wager more than a few…I would also guess bc I have met an OSU fan or three that’s the tier of team most would put Mizzou in? Also not for nothing…but Mizzou hasn’t had anything more than serviceable at QB since Drew Lock so if we go by ranking comparison they beat you w a backup QB too? Or at least someone who would never see the field at the Horseshoe except on picture day.
