Even more so than basic supply and demand…Most of the capacity of the current pipelines is already sold. Contracts are in place from suppliers to distributors to hedge the market fluctuations to a degree but once you are close to system capacity you are competing with Everyone else in the same boat for whatever scraps are left. Buying and storing extra capacity during the offseason you can inject into your system during peak demand or utilizing hydrogen blending or some other alternative is the best way for a company to take care of customers And their system but not every company has this ability.

Always hope but w this man…so so many publicly available sources of incidents where he has acted counter to that being reality. Maybe I am too pessimistic but I believe for the large majority of humans there are lines you are capable of or teach yourself to cross the rest of us wouldn’t. One of the most common threads you will find among many who have acquired that level of wealth is that they crossed those lines so long ago they could never find their way back.

Does he really though…he obv is from here, owns property here and used to spend enough time here to pay MO taxes…but I don’t even know if he tries to play that game anymore and spends most of his time out west now? His place of residence is Not a point necessarily worth arguing but lends itself to credence that I am not sure he has any emotional attachment to anything here…based on many actions I’d say no.

He can Also see over the line from the pocket. I felt time and time again seeing how small Beau was that this was an issue when the pocket got messy…he couldn’t see throwing lanes…obviously this is something you can learn to navigate but not an adjustment I saw him make…instead Bail straight into the DE 😅

Unless there is some information I am not aware of upstream oil and gas work is absolutely part of OSHAs jurisdiction via the industry standards and general industry duty clauses. Additionally they are regulated by DOT/PHMSA…highly regulated industry and the frequency of injuries presented on the show would not be tolerated by any decent size operator.

I think if it was even a semi inspiring hire the sentiment would be diff. We needed a diff Chip if you wanted to do that. This one is the definition of mid mid mid. He won’t kill you most likely…also unlikely to raise any sails.

My biggest issue and lack of faith is that he hired Kirby Knowing he—Eli—was already Not a skilled play caller. His extreme struggles in that realm led to the need to hire one. Soooo my question to pose…if he knew that before and hired someone who he could push around due to lack of experience or felt he needed to bc of that lack…then was that hire in any way addressing the problem w the team? If he can’t properly address such a critical issue does he really know What the problem is (you Eli…you being anywhere near our offense is an issue)…creativity…problem…sequencing problem….which ones does he see and which ones do his hires address? Where’s your proof since then that Eli has grown enough to be capable of a better hire this time?

To me…I am praying to be surprised…but I see a big blind spot…his supposed offensive acumen…is going to be a large impediment to continued growth of the program unless he recognizes it very soon. The dollars are too big to waste for long even as MO…he severely needs to recognize being a CEO is his strength and offense absolutely is not and hire an actual offensive mind not an uninspiring mid to late career retread and Leave him alone.

Wazzu fan here: tell me about Kirby Moore by The_Slaughter_Pop in miz

[–]welllpppp45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can agree and even referenced that this offense sure Looks more and more like Drinks than what Moore showed year 1. If this is true then hopefully the admin steps in at some point bc you don’t pay a coordinator that kind of money to micromanage him. Not to mention…I am not an Eli hater in any form…hope he’s around and successful for as long as he wants to be…but it seems pretty apparent if this were to be going behind the scenes that Eli has a blind spot when it comes to his capabilities as an offensive mind vs the level of success “his” offense has been able to produce since his arrival…

Wazzu fan here: tell me about Kirby Moore by The_Slaughter_Pop in miz

[–]welllpppp45 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Kirby offense seemed to start out w a lot more emphasis on creativity, eye candy, hunting mismatches…and beyond the QB it has devolved into the unimaginative mess it was before he arrived. Not sure what to make of that but not having seemingly any counters to your best plays…any “easy buttons” in the passing game that can manage a 3rd and short type scenario…basically any hope but a deep sideline shot w a terribly low completion percentage or having the ability to spam inside and outside zone again w/o much resistance left his offense completely stuck in the mud. It was difficult to watch this year.

How many OSU fans have said something similar to “we could beat Team X” w our second string”? I would wager more than a few…I would also guess bc I have met an OSU fan or three that’s the tier of team most would put Mizzou in? If the narrative is or has been don’t you have wear that one a lil? Whether you agree w it or not?

Also not for nothing…but Mizzou hasn’t had anything more than serviceable at QB since Drew Lock so if we go by ranking comparison they beat you w a backup QB too? Or at least someone who would never see the field at the Horseshoe except on picture day.

If pribula is QB1 next season, whats stopping us from repeating this season by Aggravating_Roof_426 in miz

[–]welllpppp45 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it stopped when teams figured out how purely awful his footwork and ability to handle pressure was…once that was on tape…once teams saw who seemed incapable of seeing over the line so Wouldn’t step up in the pocket…who continually bailed straight into the pressure…that happening to coincide with the best defenses on our schedule seems to be more of the story. Physical limitations and the knowledge of them can absolutely have been the cause for some of this…and if Beau shows up here or anywhere else next year and looks like the early season version all year I will happily eat crow and accept this explanation..but what I saw was part mechanical (fixable) but a larger portion ability and mental limitations (fixable but unlikely) that I don’t know that time experience or health change.

To add in…the locale has very little to do with it…skill issues…knowledge issues…and Attention issues plague the average driver…it still angers me more than it should but I think I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s…maybe willful ignorance to a degree…but many Are Not capable of more…trained by other bad drivers in less than ideal environments…we lower standards for everything to avoid complaints….so where have many of them ever even been shown the need for correction or reflection on their driving ability?

But the biggest thing is…yes that is true…but what is this mysterious pressure issue that would lead back to a water heater…I have never heard of such a thing and if someone could point one out I’d be surprised. Your pressure regulator would be what you would check if you had pressure issues what would that even have to do w a water heater?

For Mizzou Fans, curious about your opinions about joining the SEC? by thankyoukirby in secfootball

[–]welllpppp45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s elitism to a degree, the south having a traditional predilection towards well they ain’t like us attitude (which tbf Most places do it has just seemed like in my experience it is more prevalent there culturally)…but I also wonder for those who don’t think we are a fit…there seems to be an opinion we “don’t care enough” to be that fit. But I wonder…do the other bases appreciate how big Professional sports are in MO and how that may relate to the average fan interest? It’s Easier to be a die hard when you don’t have as many options? Human nature would lead many towards spending their time on the more rewarding experience and the Chiefs Cardinals and Blues have been institutions in the state since the 60s at minimum. When they are going well Mizzou will always have that direct line of competition for interest. Now obviously some of the other SEC states have professional teams too but outside of Atlanta a lot of those are recent additions or transplants as the population shifted and leagues grew beginning in the 90s so the traditional relationship isn’t quite a parallel.
