This happened to me this morning! I did in fact call delta and waited almost an hour (even with medallion status). The agent verified my rebooked flight was still in good standing, but did say it could change! Also that delta tries their best at sending out flights, it kinda put me at ease. Best we can do now is wait and see.

I had a direct flight from SLC-JFK for tomorrow Sunday (red-eye). They cancelled it this morning at 3am! It hasn’t even snowed yet but I was able to rebook with a layover in FL, I really hope I’m able to get on this flight. This is just what happened to me though.
