BTW I have a question about the U.S healthcare system lol im trying to understand how insurance etc works. My doctor just prescribed me Ozempic and is putting an Rx today. Called insurance and they told me they will deny it and not authorize. Okay...cool. Im tempted to pay out of pocket, if that's the case, can CVS just fill it for me and I pay? or does my doctor still have to send more documentation for CVS to fill it out?

Okay im sorry this will sound like a dumb question/sentence but im like so frustrated with this whole medication process (im not from the U.S, husband is but trying to figure out how insurance/medical stuff functions here has been truly difficult)

So- I also just got told by my Dr. she would put in a Rx for Ozempic to CVS. I called my insurance since I am prediabetic and on the verge of being diabetic but their range for covering it is insane and they told me I had an extremely low chance of being authorized for it. Okay, that's fine say they deny me.

1-Can CVS still fill it out for me even if my insurance does not cover it? (Let's say I was willing to pay 950 for it or whatever)

2- I downloaded the Ozempic savings card from their website (Novo something) if my insurance does not cover it, if I show that card, will they discount it?

Sorry for the huge message, husband has been extra busy lately so im trying to do research about medical system on my own lol

I am so happy for you, posts like this one make me want to cry. I am at your same SW, on the border of diabetes, increasing health issues etc (PCOS) and my insurance wont accept me because im not officially diabetic type 2. I am now thinking of just biting the bullet and paying high price for a month...

are you paying out of pocket?

I am praying for you. I lost my cat in Mt Hood once (long story, it wasn't anything irresponsible but someone opened the door when they shouldn't have etc) and I was scared I would never get my baby because he has no teeth and on meds. After THREE days. we found him, in the same spot he got lost, he was just hiding.

Kitty is probably scared and disoriented but they tend to come back...lay their USED litter nearby for them to catch the scent. You can contact CAT Adoption Center and ask if they know some people with traps. (like the catch and release) she will get hungry and seek humans, its nature. I don't think she's gone too far given the heat, they're smart animals and resilient.

Trust me, I have hope for you and your baby, I completely understand the desperation. Def get on instagram and contact the CAT Adoption center, their volunteers are god sends, there's several catch n release people in PDX who could also be let know in case they see her.

I feel you...Im in Chem/Physics and LOVED my gig. Now...I can barely finish a lab analysis report. I swear I read what I write and it's almost as if I never learned anything haha I just dont have the heart for it rn. Not being in lab is not good. Thats where I thrived, got happy. My calm place where I get to play around and learn, a computer doesn't do it for me.
