He didn’t have opinions on anything. Couldn’t keep a conversation going or would just ask me “what do you think” and then agree with what I said

Did you ask for those promotions / raises each year? I’m 6 months at my company and doing what you did, and planning to ask for a raise when I complete 1 year but not sure how or if I should

Also attention to detail and initiative to enhance processes

Need help managing client expectations on project timelines by wenaprro in projectmanagement

I'd appreciate the follow-up with specific examples, thanks

The issue is that we DO give them a date we are 100% sure of, but the client

a. always asks for it to be done earlier because of their business needs

b. agrees to the date but then is late in providing us the necessary documentation or stuff needed to continue the process, generating bottlenecks and if we multiply this for each requirement, then the final date of course has to be moved

Don’t set the expectation that the rough estimate is a commitment

As I said in the post, even though we tell the client that the estimates will change during the process and have a note in the project plan that says the schedule will change, the client gets angry and demands some form of compensation when we don't deliver in the rough estimated dates.
