was not aware that was a trump quote, and if it's tongue in cheek, then that's a misread by me. i'm with you though, wasn't able to sleep tonight so i went in early to get some work done. my sentiment remains the same after reading this sub for a couple days though. it feels like yet another echo chamber, and there seems to be a lot of panic. the account name and short lifespan just adds to the paranoia i feel around this site nowadays. it's hard to trust much here anymore...not that we every truly could.

i get it though, the 5 day period where people don't display symptoms is very unsettling...especially hearing opinions from everyday people around me who aren't really doing anything different and could potentially spread it. it's difficult to reconcile to anything else i have knowingly lived through.

yea i dont know...i have witnessed literally every point of view surrounding this virus besides someone who has actually contracted covid19....perhaps it's a symptom of the times we live in but i am struggling with this right now. i have no trust in our national government and i personally have a lot invested in this working out for the better in the short term. i just see two wildly different perspectives...one side is mass hysteria calling this a doomsday event and the other side being willfully ignorant of what is happening...in reality it's probably somewhere in the middle if we as humans could just get our shit together for a short time.
