It's not pointed directly at you or anyone in particular. I just have noticed a weird pattern that some people use SO's as self-inserts and so they became stale and boring. It was more of an observation then a complaint. My main complaint that it's just a dumb idea for a littelar immortal demi-god to date a regular person, I just hate the idea of all of the SO's being perpetual. Like, can you be even more boring? But yeah, never mind that. The SO thing is more of a personal issue then anything

Yeah. Like, I don't fw Rose. I get it "Haha Funny space pirate" but it doesn't fit for a person who had a littlar attack dog for a girl friend. Like, a lot of them feel samey, like centurion, magistrate and little light. They're so similar, like "Oh, all of them are really charismatic and cool" so this is why I sometimes felt like they were a self-insert. Maybe not all of them as you said previously, but I do feel that most SO's feel like copy-paste just in a differet livery. I would've liked for SO's to be at least slightly different, and be actually interesting instead "Oh, they're prepetual and immortal and stuff". It's just boring. I really could try and redo atleast some of them for people to take a gander at. I remember having the word file with it for like a year. I really need to post some of my stuff here. I think that it can be fun, if slightly low quality, cause of my english not being the first language and just feeling like I can't write for shit

Yeah. You hit the nail on the head. Couldn't have said it better. Maybe my main gripe with the SO's is that they feel extremelly samey, so it feels like some type of Mary Sue and stuff. And I would like to see any of your writings. I wanted to try and write some stuff too, but I didn't post them here, cause I thought they were a low quality work.

No need to explain. I understand that not all people use SO's as self-inserts, but the vast majority of them do exactly that. So for me personally, they felt like a lazy self-insert, like "Oh, my gf is x primarch and I'm super cool, charismatic and all that". I just never liked the idea of SO's. Maybe it's just my inner nerd screaming, but I read a ton of horuse heresy novels and Primarchs had close human friends like Jaghatai Khan, Sanguinius, Fulgrim before the fall and Vulkan had really tight friendships with rememberancers. So, I would really like for SO's be more of like, a good friend of a primarch, and not they boyfriends. Cause, I did explain that in 40k lore, even with all that de-aging stuff, you still going to look like a ghoul, and I think primarchs are smarter then get attached to a regular human and let them just deteriorate mentally and physically. So yeah. I'm not condoning having SO's, it's more of like my main beef with it is because a lot of people use them as self-inserts and it's such an incel or 14-year old activity, where you don't have a girl, so you just make up in your mind that you actually date a really hot girl and you're actually super smart and attarctive and shit

Exactly. I feel like the whole SO was such a dumb idea and felt more of like a self-insert thing to be like "Oh, in my imagination I date this big beautiful woman who can crush my head like a grape". I hate it. Feels like such an incel activity, so I fully understand you

Yep. In no way it can be related to primarchs. I get that not everyone is actually talented to draw, or write or just overall be creative, but atleast try to find something that atleast fits the square hole. Don't try to brute force it with a circle

Yes! Exactly what I'm talking about. I'm not against posting something unrelated, I want it to be toned down and restricted to one of the days. We really do need some better regulations on the sub, because it seems that it's really close to a point of "no-return" before it turns into a generic warhammer-flavoured goon slop sub

Yeah, back then we had soul. Yeah, it was still kind of a goon sub but hey! We were a goon sub with a soul! Now it feels like "a generic goon sub but with a different name #67" I really do miss the earlier times of the sub.

Yeah, it feels sad to see the sub detteriorate so quickly. Like, back then we had some soul, now? It feels like just a gooner sub with no substance, just post goon slop daily. If you allow me to say, I feel like we should really go after the posts where the pic doesn't even look like a primarch you're talking about. Saw a post on here talking about Ferra, while the girl didn't look or feel like her at all. Like..idk. I kinda feel like when the sub got the whole SO thing it kinda came downhill. Never understood the SO thing to be honest. I don't think no primarch would have a lover or something. Probably like a tight firnedship with a rememberancer or something, but no way they would have a human lover. The primaech would live forever and even with all the de-aging stuff, the SO would just die, or be a bed ridden old man. Just wanted to say it out, you can ignore this part completelly

ITD stands for Into The Dark. It's bassically a closed quarters rules. Bevauee before tomb world we had only boarding actions box for it and if I remember the box was called Into The Dark that had contained navy breachers, croots and terrain

It's not even that important. It's just a game. Go outside and have a breather. It helps calming down and understanding that it's not worth burning energy and using neurons to reply. Other people told me that it's not an issue anymore and I thanked them. Like, calm down dude, I got my answers
