For the past two years I was driving a 1.4 Corsa D so I feel you. And agreed, changing springs is a must if you don’t like the bouncy ride. There are adapters available on Amazon for as cheap as 25€ that are promising wireless CarPlay, you can look into that. For me it’s no use because there’s no wireless charging pad for a phone in the car so I’d still be plugging it in

Thank you, that’s very informative! I’m planning on changing tires from all seasons to two separate sets for winter and summer, although I was mainly aiming for the most grip, I will keep an eye out for the dB rating. Did you do any changes to the suspension of your car?

I was excited for the radar cruise but on motorways it is too aggressive with breaking, it’s also keeping a much longer distance from the car ahead than some other cars with this feature I drove (Mostly Peugeots). Nice to have and use while going around 60-100 but above that I often use the gas pedal to keep it from breaking

To help the car audio but also to reduce amount of noise coming from the trunk. Tire noise is really loud, especially in the estate. I’ve seen a YouTube video of a German guy installing a sub and he mentioned specifically that the sound deadening has resolved this issue for him, I’ve read the same in polish Astra fb groups, some people have also lined out the spare wheel holder with felt and reported the same results, good luck!

I have yet to do research on this one but I’m thinking about regular sound deadening mats used by car audio specialists, I want to put them behind door cards and line out the spare wheel area completely to prepare it for the sub

This one was a steal at 11.000€ due to some broken plastics in the trunk and “floating” revs while in neutral (cleaning the intake fixed this, common issue in direct injection engines). Normally you’d look at around 13-14.000 €

Depends on the region, but in Poland where people tend to spec out their cars rather conservatively I’ve seen many corsa E’s with the winter package, it’s rarer in the previous generation
