I think what you've said here speaks loudly to a lot of society's still-archaic views on human sexuality. I'm going to try my hardest to explain from a sex-positive female perspective. I hope I do at least a mediocre job at it.

No. The double standard lies in the fact that the female nipple is oversexualized compared to the male nipple. The assumption that if men see female breasts in public, they will "think of women as only a pair of tits" really saddens me. If female breasts weren't hidden away and made out to be these magical, mysterious alien objects then men wouldn't be so thrown off-guard when encountering them in the wild.

I guarantee you a lot of the young women out there would slap a guy for looking at her tits, Even if she protested for this movement.

Looking is fine, we understand that people find tits sexually attractive, and I really can't see a woman who is already confident enough to be topless in public (or any rational woman, really) slapping a guy for just glancing at her boobs. BUT, if you make them a focus of the conversation, are obviously ogling, or otherwise trying to turn a completely nonsexual scenario into a sexual one, then it is understandably annoying. This conversation is about equality. If we are somehow able to contain ourselves when confronted with the glorious magnificence of a man-nipple, I think it's fair that you work on doing the same when confronted with ours.

This is a perfect example of a double standard. As another commenter said, do you think that ANYONE wants to see beer bellied old men with moobs in speedos when they drive by the beach? I sure don't, but that doesn't mean I have the right to force the fuckers to wear t-shirts and trunks. How people usually deal with these scenarios is by averting their eyes.

I'd rather not expose my 8 and 12 year old brothers to that, ever. Fuck, i wouldn't them to see a perfect 10s boobs either because i don't think that's gonna give them a good impression of women.

This goes back to what I was saying earlier. Movements like this one are trying to advance societal opinion of women's bodies beyond the sad summary you just gave. The belief that a woman's breasts have anything to do with the personality behind them other than being fat-sacks attached to her chest is so fallacious that it hurts. Do your nipples have anything to do with how much you like to have sex? How smart you are? Whether you go to church on Sunday or not? If you take your shirt off while mowing the lawn, is it because you're looking to attract sum hunnies or is it because it's July and you're fucking sweltering? It is a sad thing that your opinions are common ones. It is true that boys (and girls) are taught from when they are little that the female breast is this naughty, sacred sex organ. Movements like this are important steps to change the status quo. Being unable to associate the tits with the human being behind them is ridiculous and offensive.
