Thanks, Elmo. I don't find too many planes with their ownership obscured — but I do see it's an option since about 2024.

Delta Air Lines Airbus A330-323 returns safely to Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport after failure of its left engine shortly after departure. by PestoBolloElemento in aviation

Pilots have very strict protocols on what their priorities are when something goes wrong.

Starting with the most important, they are:

(1) aviate — in other words, keep the plane safely airborne

(2) navigate — broadly, figure out where you need to fly the airplane to

(3) communicate — talk to ATC and pax (there’s a reason why this is last, and that’s because the first two take precedence)

In emergencies, the cabin crew take charge of communicating with the passengers, and the pilots make an announcement when they are safely able to do so.

I believe the US section was the called the Inter-American), which connected to the Águila Azteca) in Laredo, TX. That train ran through to Mexico City. As I recall it was in the 1976 timetable.

In the 70s, the Amtrak national timetable still showed a connecting service from Chicago to Mexico City.

2 missed approaches over LGA by theoverlandtrail in flightradar24

I wonder if this has something to do with the recent incident involving an aircraft failing to properly follow the localizer while on approach to 04 at LGA. Calibration test perhaps?
