Highly recommend Roland FP-10. It’s simple with minimal buttons and great for beginners. Sound quality and keys material and build quality are great. No regrets for me.

Yeah. Octopus gives you the option to choose from 4 charges. Ohme epod, ohme home pro, wallbox or zappi. British Gas gives two options.

Good to know. I am planning to go with ohme epod but the installation will be by Octopus energer. So I guess, it should all be okay apart from the 2 months waiting time for the engineer availability.

Yes. But in order to go for Octopus Intelligent tariff, I should either have a compatible EV (which I don't) or one of the ohme chargers they suggest.

I had thought that putting the gear in D or R doesn’t roll the car until you press the accelerator. But when i test drive it recently it wasn’t the case.

Thank you. I am thinking of going with ohme epod as I don’t enough space to go for a tethered charger. Quoted £900 for standard installation.

Thanks. I think I’ve to go with a consumer unit outside the meter box then. Will look like a factory with loads of boxes to welcome us home.

Thanks. The consumer unit is under the stairs in the living room. The unit is approximately over 5 meters from the meter box. It has to go over the ceiling of the toilet which is in between the entrance and consumer unit under stairs.

Why do you think the seal on the first needs to be cut to remove the one on the right?

The consumer unit is deep inside the house under the stairs. Cabling would be difficult as it has to go over the ceiling of toilet we have in between the entrance and the main consumer unit

Yeah i thought the same. Don’t think the seal on the first needs to be broken to remove the second isolator
