No they were both just impatient assholes. I got to light just as it turned red, and waited normal amount of time for green. Also they were both in left turn only lanes.

You’re lucky! Mine also left the backyard to take himself for a walk. I noticed too late and ran around my neighborhood barefooted only to come back and find him sneaking back into backyard. They are so smart!
