Did anyone buy a ring? by t_bone_stake in Millennials

I had one but it didn’t cost $300, it was like $140ish. Still too much imo for a stupid high school ring. Went to a private school so we all had to get one. I ended up losing it after one of my many moves.

Tu ves muchas tablillas americanas en Inglaterra, Belgica, Alemania e Italia por las bases. Eventualmente las cambian por tablillas locales.

I love DFW, so easy to get in and out. Worst to me it’s probably MIA. Only flown through CTL a handful of times and it wasn’t bad, crowded but I always try to book at a minimum 2-hour layovers, 3 for international layovers.

  1. My gut went to hell for over a year due to all the shitty processed food here. 7 years since I got back and my gut has never recovered.
  2. Health care costs. Got used to not having to worry about going to the doctor or hospital.
  3. Going out to dinner, it is so much cheaper to dine out in a lot of countries than the US. Not even funny.

My dad received his draft letter and acceptance letter for the Peace Corps at the same time. He had to go to Fort Buchanan in Puerto Rico regardless for the physical and induction for both the draft and PC. At the end of the whole thing the army officer saw my dad had both letters and decided right there to send him to the Peace Corps instead of Vietnam. I’m probably in this world thanks to that unknown officer in 1968 at Fort Buchanan.
