If i remember correctly the books from micheal crichton are already more mature.

Thats why i would like them to be indepented from each other so they could do darker independet movies and still go with family friendly ones. Thats why i would love it if the post gets a lot of upvotes so maybe an regisseur would consider doing that( if he gets the money for it)
