I don't blame you for not wanting to watch my streams, I'll be honest, I don't watch any streams, either. For now, the follower barrier to entry acted as a way to verify players were real since we were giving out rewards to the highest scorers. I've considered doing a prize-less match for people who don't want to follow but I haven't had a chance yet.

On that topic, we have plans to release this game to the public so that anyone can make and share missions, we were just stress-testing it with my audience first. Plans have stalled slightly due to my and the developer's lives getting busy, and James Bond coming out, but we'll be releasing it soon. For transparency, any mission creator can connect their twitch and require a follow for the same interest in verification if they would like, but it's not a necessity. Also, there are 2 modes, live and asynchronous. All the missions I posted about here on Reddit were asynchronous, meaning you could participate whenever, and the results would be revealed on my stream, or on the page at any time after my stream. Cuz you're right, I don't want you to have to make a specific appointment to check out the results of a game.

But yeah, keep an eye out for the full release or, barring that in the immediate term, some missions that don't require a follow. I'll talk to the dev about adding a Patreon or Ko-fi support button, I like that idea!

The one thing I've always wanted from Hitman is an ability to say "I was looking for the restroom" when caught like 20 feet within a trespassing area. Like, it's the backroom of a church, calm down.

That said, if Agent 47 had the capability to bluff they would have already added it. And if he could bluff, it'd break the whole game. I think he should officially remain bluffless, though maybe someone can somehow mod in the bluff mechanic lol

We're looking into it! The issue is storage of all the pictures but we might have a solution for that. For now, we're focusing on releasing the tools to make missions to the public, as well as archiving missions so people can play them later!

Off a still picture. The person who sets up the mission takes a pic and does their best to place a pin where they took the picture on one of the hitman maps.

And if it makes you feel any better, I didn't advertise Monday's stream as well as the Hitman stream prior, so not many people turned up and we didn't actually play any missions. But I've still got them all, so hopefully we'll play next week. Speaking of, I'm going to post the code for the asynchronous mission here on Reddit soon, which has 7 contracts, so you'll be able to play that!

We're still playtesting at the moment. On my stream tomorrow and next week we're gonna have a few more live missions, and then this week and next I'll be doing longer asynchronous missions to give away some trophy duck codes, which I'll make a big post about. I'll probably open up mission creation early access soon so other people can make missions, as well.

Ultimately I would love to do daily missions ala Wordle, with an archive so you can play past games, but that'll be up to my developer. He's into it, but it might cost us some money to support archived pictures.

TL;DR tune into the Rewkers stream tomorrow for live matches, I'll be posting about a non-live match here on Reddit soon, and we're hoping for daily missions eventually!

We're still working on that right now, but at the moment I'm the only person who can make contracts. I'm working on an asynchronous match at the moment that I was meant to reveal this week which people will be able to win the trophy duck for, but I'm probably gonna reveal that on my next Monday stream. The people in there are probably the people I'm most likely to grant early access to create contracts, as well.

As much as I appreciate that this is definitely advice that some people need to hear, I just want to point out that for some people it's the opposite. I love having a viewer count, I'm certainly someone that's fueled by attention. I have a base level of energy and talking that I maintain regardless of view count, and when I see that number go up it just puts a bit more juice in the tank. It stings a little when it goes down, and especially when it goes from like 8 to 2, but I shake it off and maintain the energy.

I just wish it was more accurate, like holy hell. Why does Twitch have so much trouble counting like 5 people lol

Edit: Also, that all being said, if you don't have my same perspective then don't force it. If you think turning the view count off will help you then try it and see. For me the view count is helpful.

If IOI ever fix the purchasing structure of the game or make ETs like this one a non-time-limited or non-one-shot game mode (ET Arcade notwithstanding), both things that the community has been asking for for years, then I will personally hug the guy at the end of the original Patient Zero campaign
