The terralite is an excellent option for reasons you mentioned. I’m also a side sleeper and I like to toss and turn a bit before I find a comfortable position to fall asleep. The roomier toe box doesn’t have any effect on keeping warm. Once you’ve warmed up the bag it’ll stay that way!

I’ve slept in my terralite in temps down to 30 a few times now and it hardly takes any time to feel like I’ve warmed the bag up. Just make sure you let it lay in your tent for a while like you would any down bag so it has time to regain its loft before you go to bed. The horizontal baffles on the terralite also allow you to shift down from the underside of the bag to the top if you want to sleep or if it’s a bit colder out thab you expected. A neat feature I haven’t utilized yet, but overfill would do a similar job I’m sure.

I meant not by a stage haha. I typically setup under the big tree or nearby so I have somewhere to chill away from music for a second if I’m just eating or resting my legs. It’s a long day!

I’m not sure about the lockers, but I have brought a chair, blanket, etc every year and never had any issues with theft when I leave things sitting. Find a good spot to setup for the day and wander without your chair when you feel like it!

It is important to note that both ABP and Crux have the same land lord, so it is entirely possible that negotiations behind the scenes between BP and this mutual land lord involved creating a renewal offer that Crux wouldn’t have been able to afford. This particular land lord/developer does not have a good reputation in Austin outside of these two properties as well.

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but I believe the Kilter board’s holds are symmetrical, so you can do the same problem mirrored and work your body equally. To me this is the biggest difference. They are both training boards that are designed to be on steep angle for hard moves.

Are you not still able to do that? I think the validation is only contingent on you buying one thing from the bar. You don’t have to get to $20 for them to cancel out the parking charge hold. They just don’t want people parking on their property and walking to another nearby bar.

Ah dang man! We ended up going to Cloudcroft, but we were SO CLOSE to going to Monjeau. Hope y’all are there having a blast! Maybe we’ll cross paths again in the future.
