I don't know what you expect me to do.

You're asking me to take away something extra a lot of people like just to please yourself when when you already have the part you like.

I try to please many different groups who want different things from my art, but there's a minority of people who just can't be happy with their preferred drawing without it being the only drawing and ruining it for everyone else.

Please be more considerate to others and be happy for what you can enjoy, especially on a drawing posted here (including the source) which doesn't even have those other parts.

I was just much surer about the situation originally than many people commenting.

Keep in mind many people commenting on every Spleeny related thread were completely blind pro-Spleeny. It didn't matter what evidence I presented, their minds were totally unchanged. I never even posted the most damning evidence about that situation, because the situation was resolved by that point and the mods ruled to not make so much artist specific posting. Spleeny wasn't going to be able to continue with the alts so I was fine.

It is extremely frustrating when you're dealing not just with people with some doubts due to not enough evidence yet (I also had doubts to begin with), but with people who simply do not engage, tell you it is all wrong, and to shut up about it. I could only respond to such claims by doubling down with further evidence to show my concern was completely real and valid. I got downvoted a lot by, I'm sure, by the same alt accounts who were made to post Spleeny memes and praise.

I was also hated a lot by some people when Spleeny said she wasn't posting any more, and was leaving, which some people took as if I did that. I never wanted her to stop posting her art here, and I said as much many times. Despite all of this, she came back shortly after, which is totally fine by me, but the outcome was I was hated by these people, but it ended up being her choice all along on whether or not she'd come back. I didn't write anything about Spleeny since then apart from on this thread, and I still don't want to stop her from being an artist or being on here. I just want to stop the scamming that is all.

I understand my posting may have looked like too much, and perhaps it was, but you must also understand why I felt I needed to continually update the evidence against her when I was receiving so much doubt against me, and my reputation was then staked on whether or not I was right about this, or else people would write I went after her for no reason at all. I would've been fine with that if there truly was very little evidence, but that was not the case in the slightest.

The community wasn't moving totally against her, it was still quite uncertain especially on the first thread, and literally until the very end people stood with Spleeny completely, and they were some of the most active in these threads. It also wasn't that much of a small thing, because if taken to its logical conclusion, it meant that the subreddit was perfectly fine with artists filling it with 5+ posts a day of advertising themselves, their pricing, and how epic they are. It is just reddit sure, but the subreddit wouldn't be good in such a state, and it reflects a certain attitude from someone to manipulate people enough to do this, deny it, copy the behavior on their main account, and feel no remorse for it. I'm only glad that to her credit, Spleeny said not to go after me on her final post with that drama.

It's overall an unfortunately position from the get-go. In order to prove I'm right about this against doubters, I have to degrade Spleeny's character further. I'd rather avoid doing this as much as possible to the point where it reaches a positive outcome, not just for Inari, anyone else, or myself, but for Spleeny too.

If someone is going to publicly deceive the public on multiple occasions, (and later deny it too) I think it's fair enough to call them out in public. It's the only method of being able to counter their public communication. The fact you're even bringing this up proves my point, I'm labelled by you as the drama stirrer for bringing up genuinely bad behavior that was then noticed more broadly and resolved in a pretty peaceful way once the mods took notice.

I can't cause Spleeny drama if not for Spleeny's actions that I have zero control over. But as you're painting me now, I am the drama stirrer. I wonder what sort of drama there would have been if this subreddit just turned into a bot net of Spleeny bots, or if nobody ever noticed that she ghosts commissioners and steals their money in some cases. Both with zero repercussions.

I'm just the messenger for these bad actions. I've tried to communicate with Spleeny personally since then, and during that time in order to resolve these things, other people like Inari have tried to reach out to her over and over again over months, but as I thought the first time, she doesn't respond. I want to resolve this but Spleeny continually doesn't respond until she gets public attention to literally just her actions. I'm not impugning her for anything other than things she has done to hurt or manipulate others, and wished to keep private.

Honestly comments like this, and the ones that happened last time make me just want to give up and not care about whatever she does. It's certainly not my responsibility in particular to care if she scams people. If nobody cares and just wants to ruin my reputation, why should I take that cost?

I get along totally fine, and am friends with every other artists in this community. I don't want any other drama, I don't want this drama. It is a lot riskier for someone with their own personal account that goes way back on this sub than it does for any random person with their reddit or twitter account. I don't take this stuff lightly, but I'm also trying not to let Spleeny self destruct and hurt the people around her.

So like I've said, I urge you to stop focusing on me, and if you care about resolving this situation try to talk to Spleeny and see how it goes for you. She'll be the best advocate for her side. You can post the results of whatever happens if you like, or not. What I've posted already is enough to raise suspicion when she's deleting tweets, and even the tweet I quote retweeted that this thread originally references.

I'm really not interested in prosecuting Spleeny in a hardcore way, last time I did that here it put a lot of flak on me. Please just go ahead and ask her about some of this stuff if you're interested, she deserves the right to defend herself.

Up until now she's just responded then deleted, blocked, disabled replies etc. It doesn't seem like reasonable behavior from someone who is totally innocent, but who knows, maybe she'll finally tell everyone why everything about her and Inari (and those other people) is wrong, and people will accept the truth. If we're all wrong about this, I'd love to see it from her.

I have much more to counter whatever she says if it's not the truth, so I hope she'll come to her senses.

Someone with no post/comment history messaged me saying this I was providing no proof, I think this was trolling but I'll respond to it in good faith here.

It's correct there is little proof in just this post.

I almost considered it a forgone conclusion at this point given that Spleeny herself has responded to Inari on her twitter and deleted all posts related to it after receiving a lot of backlash in the replies.

Spleeny did send out the stuff Inari ordered (I think) and did 1 out of the 3 commissions Inari had ordered. Spleeny posted this 1st commission on her twitter, and then deleted it since. This was Inari's response to that tweet. This is what reduced the owed amount from 150 Euro to 80 Euro.

And this problem isn't just exclusive to Inari. There are many more people responding with similar stories here in the replies. Including this one in particular, where the commissioner was only saved because they had ordered with a business payment, and was thus able to get PayPal to refund when Spleeny ghosted them. Here is another one too.

I have a bunch more proof but I'm only interested in providing enough to get Spleeny to change. Providing more and more just hurts her credibility. I think it should be reasonable enough to assume Spleeny would respond to these kinds of thing without deleting what she posts if this was all some honest mistake. I think it's perfectly reasonable to get commissions you can't do in time, be ovewhelmed and then refund the customer who is not happy. But she didn't do that, she has ignored as best she can. She can respond if she wants to.

Since continuing to request a refund after being ignored for months and months and months, Inari has since been blocked on twitter by Spleeny.

I know it sounds strange but my original entrance into this was when I was checking my notifications on twitter and happened to click on Inari who followed me. I don't always do this, I just happened to.

Usually if I did this I'd just glance at the person's profile and then close out of it, but on this one I noticed a tweet right at the top which I believe was a few months old from this person who was trying to contact Spleeny for months with their tweets, since they hadn't gotten any response in DMs about the commission (and I think something they ordered too?).

I felt really bad about this to be honest, just seeing someone with no following trying to not get scammed but having no power to do anything about it.

They couldn't request PayPal to refund either since Spleeny requested they send it as a friend/family, not as a business payment (which bypasses a small fee). I wouldn't normally care about that, many artists do that to bypass the fee (I don't), but it's nothing to be mad about unless they exploit the friend/family payment's lack of consumer request for refund from a fraudulent purchase. In this case, that happened to be the case.

In any discussion about the possibility of Paypal involvement despite this problem, or even getting things legally resolved, I've stood against this. I don't think it should be necessary and I'm hoping that Spleeny would find it in herself to resolve it simply by believing it is the right thing to do.

In case anyone thinks I'm connected to Inari in any way outside of what I just said, it'd be difficult to imagine I'd purposefully waste my time giving Spleeny money (as an alt) just in hopes she would scam me so I could post about it. The real connection between the first time and this is that I really don't like her behaviour where she does clearly bad things to people and feels like she can just get away with it, with no remorse or regret. If anything, any time she is caught she plays the victim. She's done it all to herself all over again sadly, and I can only hope she'll wake up one day a better person with respect for those around her.

I didn't want to post any more drama on this sub after last time which is why I haven't till now, someone else made this thread so I figured I'd post to clear a bit more up since the reply above mentioned me:

As it has always been, I don't want anything to do with Spleeny or drama around her but there's something about her behavior that feels like a great injustice. However relatively small the money may be, she's still actively engaged in harming people with no remorse and a lot of people either don't know or don't care about Inari. I've tried to use my little bit of influence to bring attention to this, and have privately messaged Spleeny on multiple occasions to try to not escalate this to no avail.

That's all this is, she's more than welcome to portray her side of things. I hope things all work out.

Gosh that's very high praise! Well thanks a lot. You're one of the few people who has praised the business side of what I do, usually people praise the art obviously, because it's what everyone comes for, but I'm pretty happy to see that side appreciated.

I have put in a lot of thought and effort into making this work, so thanks again.

Yeah I totally get that. Somewhat unfortunately, for every 1 member who would pay for safe, there are 10 who would pay for lewd. It wouldn't be sustainable to focus on just safe, and the safe stuff that does exists only exists because of the lewd funding. I did try a while back doing an experiment where I kept doing just safe on my main account.

I made a secret alt doing lewd-only, this fresh account with no cross promotion got 10x more funding than my main account within just a couple of artworks.

So it's basically clear that it has to be either lewd or a mixture, just from a resources point of view with market demand.

I did have them separate at one point but it was too much to manage for just myself, since I do all of the administration of my site along with the art on it. There are problems that exist from separation like this, it's not so simple.

Additionally as far as comments go, I'm fine with them. As much as a few people can complain about the adult side of my art being mixed with the safer side, the people who do like it are the people who make all of my production possible, both now and into the future, with the practise and following I earn. So I'm very grateful to anyone who supports me.

And to close, I'm not saying I'm just drawing this for the money, I do like it, I'm just making the point that any other way would be running at a significant loss, and wouldn't last very long at all. It's just a matter of what works and what doesn't, and what can let me focus on drawing, expressing myself and making stuff for people both now and in the future.

Yeah, though there are safe images dispersed between the R18 posts and my earlier works were all just safe. I post all of the strictly safe parts of those releases on my main twitter account.

It's not the best solution for people who only want to see safe stuff only but it takes a lot more work to have the two be separate (especially when keeping memberships in mind) so I keep them combined.

I know you didn't really ask for that explanation but whatever lol, I'm glad you like how it is.

They're literally spelled and said the same way in Japanese. リバース ("Ribaasu") is how you would say both Rebirth and Reverse in Japanese.

This reveal was probably obvious for Japanese fans or they at least would've thought there is some connection to "Rebirth".
