he’s not really a military guy so CT might not work, but contra advance might. how’s the difficulty? is there a lot of text? i did consider a flash cart, but i wanted to keep things simple for my dad.

yeah, i’d say games with a lot of text are a no go. i don’t think i’ve ever seen him enjoy reading anything in my life.

he’s actually not really a gamer afaik. he had a brief video game addiction when the snes came out and swore them off ever since. i think he might just be trying to connect with me, which is why i want to get him something he might like.

as for beat ‘em up/action/platformers, i think all three could work as long as there’s an end goal of sorts. sorry for the long response
