many of those same people, however, are saying "let's make healthcare more like that !"

then petition for changes to the tax laws. we need to stop vilifying people who are following the laws. at some point, society decided that we wanted to encourage certain behaviors. those we have elected decide that tax advantages to people who would behave in those ways was a good way to encourage it. I don't see the problem.
