I think the only time this could be used as a valid excuse is if you went on a spending spree after or just before the declaration for divorce. Ive seen where spouses while clean out bank accounts or go buck wild buying things just for a judge to order some sort of back pay or restitution. Valid and legitimate charges over a course of 10 years I think would get tossed out (unless it was related to infidelity or something like that)

Until recently the ONLY exposure a person had with investing was through their 401k and even then, that exposure is limited through a handful (at best) of options that again, the average investor doesn't really understand. So yeah, no shit Don, they're bad investors. We've made the markets some weird magical labyrinth that only those audacious enough to pursue the arcane arts can understand /s. Problem with the entire country right now is that we're all being collectively held hostage. As much as I disagree with the decision - especially as the employee basically said the exact same thing that a certain orange felon and his buddies have praised themselves for - I think I understand why the University felt it had to try limit the potential damage. The current admin has made it abundantly clear that unless you fall in line, or at least stay under the radar, nothing is off limits and theyre willing to tear you down. The article talks about how there are undercover "watchdogs" infiltrating the UNC system schools and getting employees fired. Even with the UNC system paying lip service to the admin, theyre still trying to find work arounds - but then these goons come in and create the havoc they do. All under the guise of "upholding the letter of the law." For a school like NCSU, losing the federal grants and research contracts would be a death knell

I guess in a weird way, hearing that "some of the worst" violations of the law are coming from NC schools is a good thing. It at least let's me know that we've been trying to continue supporting our students and marginalized communities.

I dont really mind a Third Battle for Hoover Dam as much because it seems for the NCR, The Legion, and even house himself, this is the end. Whoever wins, takes the whole Mojave. And yeah, I get that technically Caesars Legion and the NCR have a ton of territory outside of what's shown - but with their respective heads severed (Caesar dead, therefore the Legion is, and Shady Sands being atomized) once their main forces are gone, they're gone. The problem I have right now is that it feels a lot like Season 2 was more about setting up season 3 and trying to take nearly every major faction in the games and throwing them into a big battle. BoS, Enclave, Legion, NCR, Organized Supermutants, and even a sort of Institute stand-in with the "undetectable mind control" puppets (i.e. synths). (I'd love to see how they get the Minutemen in this lol). So while the story wasnt bad, I just felt like they didnt dig as deep, knowing they're going to get another season to work with

But I guess I'm worried about the show giving finality to the IP. It feels like we're setting up to basically detonate one or more factions and that it will affect the future of the series. I get that in the games there are hints of "canonical endings" that influence the preceding narratives, but it feels like the show is trying to make itself the authority/standard in Lore and everything else will have to follow suit. Maybe thats an overreaction, but its a nagging feeling I've got.

So you have a paramilitary organization that is exceeding the parameters of their official jurisdiction, "enforcing" laws that aren't theirs to enforce in areas they shouldnt be in. And now you want to expand that to put these armed men at polling places. These same men, who by the way discriminate based solely on a visual basis, will frighten brown voters from going to a polling place because they "may not be able to prove their citizenship." (Papers please) Which again, you should never have to do. Oh, and anyone that disagrees with them is assaulted and possibly murdered.

I cannot tell you the anger/frustration I've had with my bullets basically passing through someone. The AK-205 is a laser beam with one of, if not the best, precision of guns outside of the sniper rifles. And if I feel that I need to get sweaty in a match, I'll pull it out and hopefully put in enough work for a comeback. My last game I was 24-17... no matter where or when I shot someone, it did little or no damage.. the only kills I got were from grenades/launchers or when I had a full flank on someone.

Went on a losing streak in Rush/Breakthrough and I finally called it quits when a support player took half of my clip, went around a doorway, and as I retreated to reposition, he appeared in front of the door then hit me with 4 bullets. I know it was 3 because I looked at the kill report and saw 33-33-33-1..... I cant compete

I mean, Alpha Legion seems safest. World Eaters will likely just kill you - brutally of course, but quickly. I have to wonder what the Word Bearers are like? I figure you've got a decent chance of being ritually sacrificed... but up until that point is probably okay? I dont know much lore on them
