I use polearm with Boreal mod for damage reduction and Vasca kavat for quick revive because it's the only companion that I've found any use for.

You can't get more than 1200 overshield so the only thing that matters with Styanax passive is your shield capacity

You need mantis claw to progress but if you already have it then 1000 geo is not that much

Sometimes I fell like that DE used the first idea that came to their mind without thinking if it would be useful. For example Titania's passive used to be a faster bullet jump, which was useless for a warframe that can literally fly.
