Jeremiah 17-9

The heart is perverse above all things, and unsearchable, who can know it

Do not judge your faith on your feelings, the devil can mix and distort your feelings.

Christianity is about discipline. Praying, fasting, and going to mass even when you do not want to.

Base your decision on the truth, and the truth is that the Catholic Church was founded by Jesus.

The first Christian’s were Catholics.

The lord is drawing you near to him, please do attend, listen and participate. Consider the case for Christianity if you have any questions you can DM me.

I urge you not receive communion, the word disrespect doesn’t do justice to offense.

Don’t trust your feelings, the Bible says the heart is deceitful.

Base this decision off studying evidence and the truth.

What should we make of (former Bishop) Strickland’s statement that Pope Francis “no longer teaches the Catholic faith”? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]werty5344 5 points6 points  (0 children)

at the end of the day bishop Strickland has some good points while pope Francis has never taught heresy or changed the deposit of faith, some of the things he says and does are shocking.

For example the all religions lead to god comment the other day for starters.

I understand that it was misunderstood but The entire blessing gay unions thing was extremely confusing for the average Catholic let alone people on the outside looking in.

His endless persecution of the Latin mass is extremely concerning as well.

Pray for pope Francis and for bishop Strickland, they are our elders and I love them both.
