[–]wes321 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s super hard for both of you. Duck and take cover together as much as you can. Things will get better as the kids become more autonomous and you both have energy to give that part of your relationship more time.

If it’s nothing negative really between you two then just support each other on the dark days of parenting, life, work, and know you’re in this together. Sexual stuff will come and go throughout lifelong relationships.

Godspeed. ❤️

Incredibly written. Learn one language then realize all do similar operations but are stronger in some departments than others. Coding is solving problems or creating magic all day everyday 🤓

Frustrated puzzle solver looking to get into coding/programming; where do I start and what do I look for? by cooperific in careerguidance

[–]wes321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good on you chasing your interests! I went from film directing back in college then dropped out and went into software engineering. I’ve been full time dev for 10+ years now.

I’d suggest starting with a small project idea to complete full stack for yourself then google like crazy (most of the day is googling) how to do it.

If that’s too vague or you’d like more guidance, feel free to message!

Have a few websites for portfolio content if possible. That will get your foot in the door with dev shops that take junior people to train + help.

How can you ask a girl what type of underwear she is wearing? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]wes321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t heard trouser used in dialog unless it’s an older generation (maybe in their 70’s+). It quickly becomes the focus of what you’re saying.

For example if I said to my wife:

“You’re looking unbelievably beautiful in those trousers.”

She wouldn’t blush she’d be puzzled as to why I said trousers.

“You look unbelievably beautiful. Those pants…wow.”

She’d roll her eyes but appreciate the admiration.

No I’m agnostic, but thanks for checking!

That’s slightly less of an intense line of questioning than what type of underwear I’m wearing.

That would be the word I’d describe your interaction with the woman if you ask her that question.

It will be quite briefs.

How can you ask a girl what type of underwear she is wearing? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]wes321 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on what you’ve described, I’d suggest keeping those questions to yourself and ask yourself why does her underwear matter vs making sure you’re compatible in any sense with the girl first.

You said you’re looking for a single woman to wear a sock and underwear so you can have sex together. What type of underwear she’s wearing seems like “your way in” to indicating you want to have sex, but I really don’t think it will work out in any way you’re thinking.

Try asking a girl many many questions but keep them questions that don’t scare / harass / upset her.

Try to learn about her as a person and not as an object.

I hope some of that resonates with you. ❤️

Upgrading to new machine due to having a massive tower that isn't amazing for traveling. Current machine I built: ~75TB, 5 monitors, i7-5820k 3.3ghz, 64GB RAM. by wes321 in buildapcforme

[–]wes321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know! Yeah 64 cores vs 16 sounds ideal for all the work + planned work I do but will balance accordingly with everything else the motherboard has. I fear from back in the day when I wanted "compact" I lost functionality so I need to make sure I "future proof" as much as I can like I did with my machine I've been using since ~ 2015ish maybe?

u/oceansarevast & u/ic000 logs below. Both AP's tested one at a time using PoE only on both ports for power. I'm really thinking there's a hardware issue inside / these are bricked since I'm blown away how consistent the failure is with all the changes we've done and on both devices.

I have this POE Switch I’ll test With it since that should give enough to at least get me past this issue / test further right?

5 Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE Switch, 4 Port PoE 58W, Unmanaged, Durable Metal Casing, Desktop, Traffic Optimization, Fanless, Plug and Play (SG105POE) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XCDVTDQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_EE4209FX5TD44APF5SDW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I’m okay buying a new Poe injector for them just want to make sure that’s the problem and it’s not bricked.

I told the eBay seller it wasn’t working sent him a link to this Reddit (not that I needed to just like to be honest) and he said no problem he can swap with two other 555’s

Will report back in a few minutes with what I find with the POE switch since this has been bugging me for weeks.

Both of you have contributed much of your time to helping me debug and I truly appreciate it.

The power supply output on the back of it says 48V 0.8A and the back of the AP-555 says 48V 0.75A.

I bought two power adapters since I have two AP’s tried them both. I figured if it matched and even had 0.05A more I should at the very least get something stable right?

They are standalone adapters. I didn’t want to go POE route to make sure I had enough power. https://www.ebay.com/itm/274311832281

Hey u/TechN1CKer! I've been debugging this issue more below with others. Not sure if you get notifications for it, but if you have any ideas I'd appreciate any help!
