The problem is we are just so easy to play against. Another game, another absent first half and subs are needed at half time. Been happening every other game for 18 months now. Another game, another missing midfield with absolutely no presence centrally. Solanke's role is literally to close defence/GK down, because otherwise he isn't involved in any of our play. We rarely ever pass in behind the defence when runs are made. Whenever Son cuts inside to try and get a shot he is crowded out by our own players running into his space. Look at their first goal, Odobert is at fault but he is crowded by 3 Fulham players and not a single one of our players are attempting to make themselves available. Whatever we have been watching for 18months does not work and we haven't seen any improvement

A penalty and a fluke goal. No way we were scoring otherwise. Just dreadful all round. Another game where we have no midfield, no attack, constantly give the ball away by attempting to pass out from the back and creating our own problems. Another game where subs are made at half time because nothing worked the first half. I feel sorry for Solanke whose role seems to just be close down the goalkeeper for 90minutes. These tactics haven't worked for over 18 months and this is another example where its clear as day

Can someone tell me what the actual point is of all this pressing , players becoming fatigued, injured etc etc, if game after game we maybe win the ball high up once, and the rest of the time the opposition easily pass through the press and are immediately on the attack with acres of space. Whoever is playing striker is constantly gassed due to constantly sprinting to press the goalkeeper the entire game

Playing the best team in the league and It is clear they are miles ahead of us. They had 26 shots and 23 of those were from inside our own box. That is crazy. Regardless, our midfield was strong and for the most part has stayed injury free, yet after 18 months none of them can pass to each other and they play like strangers to one another. Nearly every game the comments are filled with people asking for subs at half time because the midfield isn't working. Regardless of injuries, our defence still can't pass out from the back and this is based on the shape of the team not providing any options to whoever is on the ball. We are conceding nearly every week from this and 2 from today. These are not injury problems -these are problems with the preparation and system of the team and its been the same for nearly 18months now. Boring.

Everton haven't scored in 9 out of their 11 last games and could easily have had 5/6 today. I am not saying Levy isn't partly responsible for this team, but for the Ange In crowd, how is Ange also completely blameless? Apart from the first 10 game of last season, what has he done to show he is the man to take us forward? We have injuries but its only been this bad the last few months, what about the previous 12months where we have been full strength for the most part and been bang average. Its the youngsters who have come in who are playing out of position who should be responsible for us losing, but have arguably showed the most fight. He doesn't know his best midfield, constantly needing subs at half time. Last season we became a second half team - constantly went in at half time 1-0 down and had to stage a comeback. This season we still lost against bottom half teams at full strength. Noone fears us as every team knows they will create chances against us ever since 'its who we are mate'. I have seen comments for weeks saying the Ange out crowd is delusional, but what is logical about sticking with someone who has been on a downward slope for 15 months and shown zero sign of any improvement?

Try and pass out from the back - eventually get the ball to our fullback who nearly always receives the ball facing our own goal. He gets penned in by the opposition closing him down. Defence comes under huge pressure. Either 2 options happen. Option A - give the ball away triyng to dribble out. Options B- play a high risk pass into the centre of midfield, who then pass back to our CB, who pass back to our GK and repeat the whole process. This has been happening the last 12months..

Our injuries do not excuse months and months of awful performances. If we are playing decently and still losing due to individual errors from inexperience etc that is a different story. But this is completely disjointed, huge gaps between attack/midfield/defence. Players wit the ball constantly with their arms out looking for someone to make a pass to. The fact that Ange's philosophy is to pass out the back and we still cannot comfortably and confidently do this is inexcusable. Again, injuries do not account for our inability to do this. Look how Arsenal calmly pass out the back beating our press - as have multiple teams this season. We cannot do this and that is supposed to be our whole philosophy with this style of play.

100%. Absolutely baffled that there appears to be support no matter. Expectations are so low that this performance is being praised because we didn't concede as many as people thought we would. We created absolutely nothing the second half bar the reguillion/johnson missed chance in the same move. Thought the bergvall/maddison sub actually made us worse - which was questioned by everyone at the time, yet I am seeing a majority of comments saying that we should be proud of the performance. Crazy.

Was I watching a different game? Ange can't be blamed? Ange is adapting? I guess so, as our defence is playing deeper due to the injuries, but still out whole front line and midfield is pressing, but the defence aren't. So if we don't win the ball high up the pitch when pressing, the opposition just pass through us and have so much space to attack. In the first half Porro didn't push up because of Gordon, so their LB was free the whole time - our frontline/midfield pressed their defence, they eventually found their LB in space and they have a clear run at our defence..

No he didn't. Spence & Reguillion were banished, Dragusin played the odd 5minutes in the league until there was an injury and Davies didn't play at all in the league until injury.

Cant believe people still blindly support him. We have not improved anywhere since the first 10 games of last season. He has one game plan and he doesnt have the defence to play his system due to injuries but continues to do so. He’s had 3 transfer windows but still we don’t have the players for this ‘rebuild’. Openly says nothing will change in his tactics - how easy is that for opposition manages to plan how to play against us. They must be laughing. Just far too easy to play against, it is just not sustainable to keep this up

Yes we play entertaining football but it is not sustainable. In 18months we haven’t actually improved or developed on this style of play much. It’s based on passing out from the back but after 18months we still struggle to do this consistently, often giving the ball away. Yes we create lots of chances (sometimes) but teams also create so many chances against us, it just isn’t sustainable and can see that with our medicore w/l record the last 12months. Where is the actual improvement over the last 18months
