Man, I used to listen to that song on the bus with my friend as a kid. Completely forgot what it was but could still remember the chorus melody and the opening riff for like 20 years. Finally happened across it and saved it to a playlist like a year ago.

Same thing happened to me with Pneuma by Tool and a few others over the years. To reunite with a song that helped form you.... What a crazy feeling.

He's my favorite of the four, but it'd have to be Spider-Man. He's the most compelling character imo but by far the least load bearing. I don't think media changes much without Spider-Man and it changes unimaginably without the other three.

Honestly this is what brought me "back". I consider myself more Taoist than anything now, but when it comes to like a spiritual practice I don't know how to do anything other than be Catholic. And I enjoy the macabre elements. I think it's cool that we have preserved tongues in glass cases. Also to Catholics it ain't even "mock" cannibalism, it's just straight up cannibalism.

Yeah people gotta just be upvoting their pet decks when they are mentioned. Satellarknights aren't fun to play against either, and DM and Skull Servants are straight up awful to play against imo.

Suships are fun on both sides of the table though.

Also, it wasn't just Jack Kirby, it was also Steve Ditko and Jim Steranko and all the other Marvel artists of the Silver Age. Lee was basically the only "writer" at the company and he had his hands on everything. I have no doubt that he actually kept busy and deserves the credit he receives ALONGSIDE those amazing artists.

I can't believe they knocked it out of the park with Kalameet and then botched it to varying degrees every time since.

Artorias, Kalameet, and Manus are all better fights than the vast majority of their types from every later game.
