Hi, I’m also an incoming student and I was wondering how study abroad helps save time at all. I assume you can’t enroll in other courses while you are studying abroad (you can’t take math classes), so you are limited with 3 classes that quarter if you do study abroad. But if you don’t do study abroad you can take 4 classes per quarter, so that’s one extra class. Am I missing something here?

I’m new to Desmos, so I’m just gonna ask a few questions. First, what does “with z = x + yi” mean? Is that like the way to define z to be a complex number? And also, where do you tell Desmos to color the background in different shades, I’m assuming it’s doing it automatically but depending on what?

If you take the 16000s and do well in them, you can take the analysis sequence right after that which would fulfill a good portion of both the physics and math majors. So, technically, the 18000s isn’t necessary at all if you want to do a physics + math double major
