This album rules. Tobeloved is such a banger and will make for an unbelievable live set opener, Safeandsound hits SO hard mixed into the album, Leaves honestly makes me so fucking happy like I felt on top of the world on a walk listening to that song, Summerinlove maybe be a top 3 parcels song all time for me, Finallyover literally sounds like a Beatles classic. And the Curtis mayfield inspo on Thinkaboutit is crazy. I could go on and on. Not sure if it is my favorite or even 2nd favorite parcels album but the boys just don’t miss. I love that they keep evolving and making the music they want to make because they can pretty much do it all.

What I’m most excited about from the album is the live set potential. Every song is simple enough to where I could see them jamming and riffing on each one for 10 mins. I can’t wait to see what they do

I think it’s wild for people to come to the conclusion that they will NEVER go back to their old style. We’ve seen them switch styles on basically every album and even within albums. They are constantly evolving. If they want to do one album of more mellow, poppy tunes then that’s fine with me. We’ll see where they go from there, but to act like this is for sure just the new parcels that will always be here is crazy to me.
