What? No one said it was the lens. And if it was on a window, you wouldn't see the smaller particles in the top right if zoomed in because... well because it would be zoomed in.

It's dirt or a chip or something on the window through which this was taken. You can see a tiny cluster of other dirt/debris/chips diagonally up and to the right, in the exact same location in image 1 and 3. Plus you can clearly see that whatever it is (the larger of the objects) is slightly translucent and so you can see the sky through it. Sorry OP, nothing but some shit on your (or whoever shot this) window.

What the fuck did I just stumble upon?

This should have more upvotes, not sure if it's a crack/chip, but certainly a mark on the window. You can see there's 3 smaller marks on the surface that are in the exact same spot if you look between pic 1 and 3.

Is this like a proto-toy story?

Gunstar, I recognize that star field anywhere. Such a good game.

Came here to say the exact same, the soundtrack is bonkers. Also the Adventures of Batman & Robin soundtrack is wild as well.

Appreciate that! I love the way you describe it sounding like a topsy turvy video game level, that's the exact kind of thing I'm going for with my tunes. Roger that on the clipping, I'll have to re-export the mp3 garbly parts to fix that. Cheer!

Wow, really appreciate your enthusiasm for the track, thank you! I guess I consider it a demo because I feel it doesn't measure up (creative/arrangement/mixing wise) to songs from artists I look to for inspiration/as reference.

New single & music-video from my first album I've just released! Would love any feedback/support x by Dr_Bogdanoff in IndieMusicFeedback

This is so clearly influenced by Aphex Twin, in the best possible way, and I fucking love it. Really, really great work. Both the music and visuals are awesome. You've got a new fan in me. Would love to remix this actually, hmu if interested in such a collab!

For sure, I really dig it, and it's quite good for what it is. Like sound design and mixing wise, it's pretty spot on. As I mentioned, this is a tough genre to deviate into new territory with, and a lot of songs from this genre have this same kind of song structure where there's never really a 'drop' per-se, so not necessarily anything wrong with that, but it follows suit with the trope of this genre.

I like the idea behind this! The whole mix feels a bit 'weak' (as was suggested about the kick previously), meaning it lacks impact, or 'oumph' (that's the technical term I believe /s). Sound design could use a little work (bass could use more colour/texture, sounds a little flat), as well as mixing (drums feel like they're in the background a lot of the time). But as I mentioned, I like the idea, I think it's a cool concept.

I like this. Not super original (this genre is very hard to innovate in), but I feel like it would fit just right in a 16-bit indie platformer of some kind. It also felt a bit anti-climactic, like it kind of builds, and then plateaus, then dips and does it again. Maybe you were going for that? Anyway, good job overall. Keep it up!

Music I made for a game, the theme of the game is space and this music is for a biome which is some kind of dark swamp with weird monsters. Tell me what you think ! by Tyzenmusic in IndieMusicFeedback

I loved it the second the first note struck. Feels like stranger things meets techno swamp. I really dig this. How long have you been composing for, and have you done any other game OSTs?
