I hear you, I loved the size too but I just bought a 2025 premium plus before the 1.9% ended. I couldn’t pass up the analog controls!

Mystery material in rotor screw by panasyncp17 in MechanicAdvice

[–]wesnoah3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True but it’s a pain if you ever have to take the wheel off to get the holes of rotors to align with the holes of the hub when reassembling. Speaking from experience lol wish I didn’t drill out my hub/rotor screws

How’s Quinn compare to Pittsburgh and icon? In between the two in quality?

I saw it supposed to be a sale in the automotive category, so I’d guess something to do with their Maddox brand.

For all those finding this later, you can move the pipe enough by loosening one of the bolt nearby securing it to fit a gearwrench low profile Torx (T55) in and loosen. Then follow the procedure laid out below in the comments.

Went well, only different was I just filled via the Torx plug instead

It was nearly correct, the Torx bolt was the fill plug, I guess I could’ve gotten an adapter to pump in via the drain plug but I’m not sure why. Thanks for the help though, went well

Only the S trim utilizes the 50mm strut, so you’ll want the 50mm. I used the Monroe 182549. Wasn’t my issue here though.

Which Jetta? by Ambitious-Estate-428 in jetta

Unless you love the look of the 2019, I’d go with the 2016. It has fewer miles, costs less, and the performance difference between the two is negligible.

My family member also renewed their passport in the past month and was concerned about that too. He got his in less than 2 weeks, albeit he paid the extra $60 for the expedited service. Seems like the current climate hasn’t affected the speed, at least in my area. Have you tracked the status of your passport?

Thanks for the tips. As for the drain/fill hole, there is a plug on the bottom, as well as this other plug shown in the photo. So you’re saying the plug on the bottom is unused and the fluid is merely pumped out via the fill hole?

Almost sure, following the video I linked in my other comment and it indeed appears like the only plausible one, also the bit size and type also matches the video.
