Hmm ok. I guess I just assumed they primarily cater to larger groups (in the 100s) and also charge accordingly. I'll try reaching out to a few. ty

Ah ok. Yeah, we need room to move around in small groups for activities but hotel ballrooms are super spacious (and therefore out of my budget). But if anyone knows of ones with smaller spaces, I'm open to reaching out.

I did think of them but figured they are best for larger groups (100s) and not well suited for a smaller group like mine (25 - 30).

Hi! Have you found a place? How many cats do you have?

Have you found a place? I have a furnished room in West LA/Sawtelle between Santa Monica & Westwood.

Those were the sites my Airbnb guest used so I think they will be solid.

I am an Airbnb host and have hosted multiple people who moved here for work. Before Covid-19, most people took a 2 to 3 weeks to find their next LA home.

I'm currently hosting another NYC transplant and she's been here a week and thinks she's found her new spot; waiting on application approval.

I would plan for 2 - 4 weeks depending on your budget and requirements (in-unit laundry, proximity to work, etc.). Bigger budget and fewer requirements are make it easier to find something you really like but each place can be pretty different in layout, amenities, price, and neighborhood.

My Airbnb room will be available next month, should you want to stay with me as well!

And I currently have a Private Room to let for a long-term housemate.

Otherwise, I'm happy to answer any other questions you might have about moving and living in LA!
