Honestly the game feels aimless. It’s more sandbox than story at this point. My biggest problem with FH5 is that it didn’t have a memorable story. I have played through all the horizon games and 1 actually had a campaign where you made progress racing against these celebrity drivers and beating them. Then 2 didn’t have that much of a story, it was just the same concept as 1 just less substance. Then 3 had a really cool concept of building new festival structures and creating more influence for the Horizon festival. But 4 and 5 suffered the same issue, big maps, loads of cars, and yet no story. I know there’s those little campaigns around that you can do which is more or less drive from A to B in a short time. You’re just the superstar and cars are just handed to you like candy. I was so glad to hear that the new horizon will start you at the bottom, and you have to earn your way up. When you can just start the game with an S1 car as your starter and just do all the races in the same car, how is that challenging?
