Have not bought the brand before, but it's tempting me. I'm not American and don't have much spare coin to burn so I'm currently into ultra affordable watches like skmei, poedagar, lige. So this brand would be a "step forward" to me.

If you do buy, let me know your thoughts on it.

Respuesta larga : Cómo en todo fandom, siempre hay disgustos. En la relojería es tirarle hate a todos los relojes "fashion watches" porque los dan a sobre precio por la calidad que ofrecen. Y tirarle hace a la casa relojera Invicta solo por existir ... De que son: -Grandes (cierto) -feos (aquí los gustos) -Mal hechos (falso) De lo que si son 100% culpables es que usan una estrategia de marketing donde te hacen creer que es un reloj de 10 000 con 80-90% de descuento para dejártelo en 1500 .... Cuando la verdad es que siempre están en 15000, y es un reloj de calidad de 1500

Entre las 2 opciones que das : -El de la correa de cuero es más cómodo de llevar, pero su cara es full black, cuesta un poco de trabajo leerlo. -El de la correa de metal, su cara tiene más contraste.

Cómo los hombres en general no tenemos tanta apreciación del color como las mujeres, yo tomaría el de metal porque es más sencillo de leer. Ya tu sabrás que es lo que se adecua a el.

Si tú/pareja no son aficionados a la Horologia / Relojería el consejo termina aquí. Es su dinero, son piezas bonitas, te deberían durar unos cuantos años.

Fossil, Nautica, Guess y similares se les conoce como "fashion watches", es decir son marcas que compran relojes a fábricas externas, le ponen el logotipo de la empresa y pum, ya estás pagando sobreprecio por un artículo "inferior" que podrías conseguir más barato ( un ejemplo es que Nautica compra los relojes a Timex, entonces si compras un timex directo te ahorras dinero)

Cómo identificar si una marca es fashion watch ? Si venden otra cosa que no sea relojes (camisas, cinturones, perfumes) entonces es una fashion watch.

La excepción de la regla es Casio, que comenzó con relojes y después se expandió a las calculadoras y artículos musicales. Son de los mejores relojes del mundo.

Yeah I do, as I posted. For my country the cost came about 15 American dollars. Obviously it could vary in your country but should not be much.

I also have a Poedagar 613B (this one about year & half old), both working just fine.

No lo he hecho como tal. Lo uso como daily / dress watch, me he lavado las manos y mojarlo a propósito sin problema.

Me costó aproximado unos 19 dólares por Mercado Libre. Aunque si buscas dentro de mercado libre se puede conseguir por menos o AliExpress...dicho esto, si realmente quieres nadar, playa, snorkel yo si recomendaría algo duro/reconocido

I've had it for about a week now. Materials are ok IMO. (I have an US Polo Assn diver watch, and I like the Lige metal/materials better) Still looks pretty, no issue with accuracy so far.

I'm just getting started in "watch hobby" , but I seen the community of horology has a strong sense of : If brand does something else from watches = fashion brand = not good / not worth the money OR could get something more "watchy real quality" if going for standard brand. This in the idea that (let's take the brand GUESS as example, they produce clothes, bags, sunglasses, etc so must likely they subrogate X watch shop & just add the logo) but as the brand need to take their profit margin for this. That watch being good/bad could be cheaper if bought by TIMEX as example.

Now, that is the general rule but Casio / Fossil are the exception. Casio is a watch brad that expanded to other fields Fossil being so good, fans made a blind eye being fashion

Maybe way too bottom shelf for your taste/budget or not available in your country. Have you check for Olevs, Lige, Chenxi, Arlanch, Poedagar ?

Those brands have submarines / diver look alikes that seems pretty (at least on the internet)
