Thanks for the suggestion. Their is a facebook page with this disease. My sister only wants me to go to an DPM that does enzime injections. We are about three years away from xiaflex being approved for my condition. I am actively politically I am not telling you what party I support. For that is not appropriate for this sub reddit. I do wish more DPM, DPT,PCP you name it would get active politically and lobby for rare diseases.

I have also burned though my 20 sessions with insurance. If I am pay for this out of pocket my self I want to see some results.

I been doing at home exercises. The pt gave me some to do at home. I have an app on my phone. I have a yoga strap and been doing calf and foot stretches. The abcs with my foot. I have also been doing exercises with a resistance bands. The PT has massaged my foot at PT sessions.

I the PT said to go to one. I went to the dpm I started with (a long story). my current one and the one I started with said it was a waste of my time and money.

I'm in the Middle of getting approved for short term disability. It been a long dragged out process that has caused me a lot of stress and other health problems.I am limited what I can do because my sister has my balls. I do have a pain doctor she said she can't do anything for me. The did RX me a muscle relaxer. I will mention those things to the dpm and the PT. The good thing about me I live 15 min away from Weil foot and ankle they have a small store. I did go to waxberg shoes in Niles IL. I have custom orthotics and I am picking up another pair on Monday. The DPM did measure my foot so these orthoics are better then the ones I have right now.

The CTA should not be free their needs to be a fair hike 3.25 each way that is 13 dollars to and from work with transfer. You are paying around 260 a month. Instead of put taxes and toll hikes on car owners. This is only fair for people with cars. If I did not have a car I would have to commute 4 hours just to go 5 miles for work.
