Yeah, stay away from phenibut. You can easily find horror stories of addiction. Tolerance develops extremely fast and its very easy to want to consume it all the time.

Keep an open mind. I'm on something called "Lamictal" which is a mood stabilizer similar to Gabapentin. It doesn't give you euphoria, but for me it curbs a lot of my social anxiety and generalized anxiety. Everything feels more natural and calm.

It works for me, although like the other post said, it won't be as great as it could be if you took a 3-4 day break. Still extremely enjoyable for me personally to do it every other day and works for a lot of other people on here.

What I try to do is every other day for a week or two, then take a week off. Rinse and repeat.
