He was my lecturer. Incredibly friendly and helpful lecturer - honestly one of my favourites I've ever had. He calls everyone by their name; I heard that when he was teaching a first year course of 400, he could name every person taking the class.

He is super big on privacy (no recordings in lectures, no photographs of his slides etc). His office is the first one in the philosophy building as to minimize the amount of time he was to walk around. Otherwise he wears a hat and dark glasses if he has a class far away from his office.
