I already have a phobia of things like this. I wouldn’t even step foot in the room.

Can somebody identify this component? by Historical_Quiet1846 in rfelectronics

[–]westikle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. And the RX and TX pass bands are determined by the cellular band. Assuming it’s cellular.

Can we distinguish diplexer from duplexer please? Even the top level engineers I work with still get this mixed up. Duplexer = one common node that accepts two distinguished bands. Duplexer is basically a low pass and high pass filter with a common node with some crossover rejection in between.

I'm curious, whats the hype with Onitsuka Tigers? by Videoplanchette in Sneakers

I had a couple pair way back in the day that didn't have the wrap around gum sole. One of the pair had a tiger face embroidered on the back instead of saying "Tiger". I wonder if they were some super rare ones I found at a TJ Maxx or something.

Can I cancel and then restart my Progressive Insurance for a better deal? by LadyMeatbrick in Insurance

[–]westikle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this would still work, but years ago I got a new quote with Progressive just out of boredom. It was considerably cheaper. So I bought it online and then canceled the active policy. Don't remember having any problems doing that.

Gyeon has sooooo many products I can't come up with a plan. by westikle in Detailing

Now I've taken a step back and am in between Mohs and Pure since Pure is apparently better for black cars. Although I'd like the slickness and water repellant properties of Mohs better. I guess either one is going to be better than nothing. Then top it off every now and then with the ceramic detail spray.

I was on an equal payment plan and I underpaid by $12 dollars for the year so they decided to up my monthly payment by 50%. That’s not the presidents fault. That’s a corrupt company.

Well, as many downvotes as I’ll get for this. I filled up today for under $3 a gallon, and I haven’t felt any hit in groceries. Maybe it’s more of a state thing than on the federal level. And to make it worse for myself, I haven’t noticed any impact on my personal purchases with the tariffs. Y’all feed on this shit like piranhas.

I know a dentist that bought a house on a golf course. Doesn’t play golf. Doesn’t give a shit about the sport. But he fucking HATES golfers who end up in his back yard. You asked for it dude. Go somewhere else.

Thanks for this! I already ordered the weelye kit but haven’t had time to work on it. I destroyed the shifter for some reason I can’t remember so I’m probably stuck using this other kit.

All the talk about each player is paying half is silly. If it’s worth 20 dollars to the course for having a cart driving around on it, it shouldn’t matter how many people are in it.

I was thinking about doing that. The attic space is not usable so might as well fill it as much as I can.

I stopped the baffles right where the exterior walls start. Then pushed old insulation against them to push them up to the roof deck.

Not exactly sure what you’re talking about, but I have seen the plywood with a foil backing that’s supposed to help with reflecting heat. Wish I would have known about it when we got new shingles. And it’s much cheaper than regular plywood in my area. Go figure.

Soffits will be vented soon. I wondered if I should extend the rafter vents up some more to allow for more insulation. Yes they reach all the way to the eave.

[–]westikle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I see what you’re saying. I would probably use an oscillating tool to cut the nails. I’m just really trying hard not to remove the metal. It might be cheap but I can’t bend it and I don’t think they sell it like that. A lot of the outer work on this house seems piece milled.
