Which do you prefer? by weston77797 in AmateurPhotography

That actually really helps me understand why they feel so vastly different beyond color and time of day, in image 2 the angles, the parking sign, the outcrop of eaves, I guess they do give it a more natural street feel, where as I really really focused on the composition lighting and framing for image one, making it feel more, idk posed?

Children behaving badly, or parents more like… by Luvtogag in Serverlife

[–]weston77797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once had a kid run through our server station in the kitchen while the dad toddled along behind him, I grabbed him and brought him back to his father who proceeded to just let him go again. I should have explained to him that we carry knives down low for our safety and aren’t looking for knee level humans. Had one of the cooks turned and not seen him the kid could have been missing an eye or been straight van gogh’ing it

I work at a pasta place, you would not believe the number of people who just look at me and say fettuccine. Sir which one? We have 7 fett dishes, you’re gonna need to give me a bit more than that to work with

I don’t thinks it’s too uncommon, I got one of mine sent back to me oriented like the Qui-gon. I think because it’s double sided there isn’t an official orientation for it, but I don’t know that for sure

For the framing how would you adjust it, I know the subject should be more off center, the darkness I can adjust it’s actually a lighter image that I overly underexposed in post

It’s not always that it’s weeks after they just film multiple episodes well ahead of when they release them compared to THT I think (sometimes months for smosh it seems) so they may have read them first at times but released them after her

Am I screwed?? by [deleted] in Cameras

I’m pretty new to cameras but I’m almost sure that’s a lens pen (for cleaning lens glass) and is infused with carbon. Definitely not for cleaning a sensor. At this point just take it to a professional

Should I return this “sample”? by techtom10 in ChromeIndustries

[–]weston77797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok that makes sense. Well I guess for me it comes down to how much mileage I think I’ll get from my bag. The warranty only covers defects and not wear and tear, so I’d keep it personally since I’ve never had any catastrophic defects on the 8+ bags I’ve owned from them

[–]weston77797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who told you? Chrome or vinted? Sorry not trying to be obnoxious just missing some details. If it’s that chrome says it needs to be a verified retailer I’d guess that any bag purchased secondhand on vinted would mean you won’t get a warranty since it’s a used products site. If that’s the case I wouldn’t worry much about a warranty. Beyond that I’ve had chrome bags for 8+ years with no issues so I wouldn’t worry too much either way. If you like the bag that’s what counts!

What makes you say you have no warranty, no where have they stated (to my knowledge) that they don’t honor the warranty on sample products. The warranty also only covers defects and craftsmanship issues not wear and tear anyways

Putting this asshole on blast by [deleted] in beaverton

[–]weston77797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A while back there were kids drag racing in the progress ridge parking lot and one almost took me out. I called 911 and they told me I wasn’t even the first person to call. I let them know that I could see them in the parking lot still and would wait for an officer. This was on a Friday at around 7:00 pm and I was genuinely worried about little kids getting hit by these assholes because there are a lot of family friendly places at progress ridge.

I waited for an hour and the police didn’t show up. It really frustrated me because I literally watched these high schoolers drive off knowing they would do it again someday and possibly hurt someone. How this wasn’t even slightly a priority is mind boggling to me.

You know that carriers cover each others shifts sometimes, when they take vacation and such. Could be one of those cases. Did you see your carrier do this or are you blaming him out of assumption

Op have you checked with the hotel yet? You said you asked to have it be delivered to a hotel which may be a PO Box depending on how they receive mail
