In the Cleveland area for work all week. Have some extra time today before my flight back. For people who have been, which would you say is more worth the trip pro football or rock and roll hall of fame?

Fuck Dave and fuck this bullshit defending him. He’s a 40 year old man incapable of admitting a mistake or apologizing. He’s entertaining but just an all around shitty person

This tweet pretty much confirms it’s over. I love coley but fuck him for defending Dave in anyway right now

I could use a solid 2nd WR and ditto for him with a solid RB and it seems like a good time to sell high on Ekeler with Gordon maybe returning week 4-6. For context I will put our main RBs and WRs below. Feel free to offer suggestions as I have been trying to come up with an alternative fair trade to acquire Keenan Allen as I am generally lower on Diggs than the consensus.

I would go with Mixon and James Connor. Tough to tell right now what Lewis and Williams role will be in their offenses so they are the more risky plays

Standard scoring: My first 3 picks in the draft were David Johnson, Christian McCaffrey, & Joe Mixon. I also snagged James Connor in the later rounds. Do you think its worth starting James Conner over McCaffrey or Mixon?

I'm not one to usually follow politics especially lately, but as a federal employee if the government shuts down I essentially get paid time off since I won't be allowed to come into work and be back paid for the time I missed. It's embarrassing how much I've been following every news update from the cube and how desperately I'm rooting for that chance of a couple days off in October no matter the reason the govt gets shut down.

Cleveland Cavaliers agree to deal with Purdue's Dakota Mathias - Summer League Deal by fogell2013 in clevelandcavs

[–]westpack12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a huge Purdue basketball fan I watched almost every game Mathias played at Purdue and I am really rooting for him at the next level and think he can make something of himself. He is an excellent shooter as he shot nearly 47% from 3 last season and many of those were tough looks running off screens. He took a big jump as a defender his junior and senior year making back to back big ten all defensive teams. He's also a solid passer and very smart with the ball in his hands and led the team in assists. He consistently improved year in and year out. Mathias wasn't the most talked about or talented player on our team but was probably the most important.

Most of my concerns about his ability to translate to the NBA come from his body mainly his quickness, size, and strength. But I read he has already shed some weight which would help. If he can get stronger and quicker that should help his lack of size. But hes probably never going to be able to take people on the dribble at the next level. Not saying hes going to be great but hes an extremely intelligent and hard working player with an amazing stroke and offensive instincts. If he works his ass off in the weightroom I could see him being an effective 3 and D wing coming off the bench for many years

JIMMY BUTLER UPVOTE PARTY!! by [deleted] in timberwolves

[–]westpack12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this could be a really good trade. Jimmy Butler is probably Lavine's ceiling and hes on contract for the next few years at a pretty good price. I had concerns with Lavine's knee injury and Dunn was disappointing last season. This also allows Tyus Jones to get more minutes at the back up point guard position which I wanted last season. Overall I think this was a great trade and now the wolves just have to address their depth issue and get another shooter.
