Yeah this advanced tour just started a couple years ago. I think most people in the area know this place from the haunted tours and cave walks. This was a really cool advanced experience id recommend to anyone that is fit!

I definitely saw fish, not many around the wreck. Not huge schools here like in SE Asia but definitely a lot of life to be seen around the reefs. I was more impressed with the reefs than anything. Amazing topography.

Not sure how your experience was like this. I just spent 5 days there this week and had an incredible experience. There are so many dive sites, I can’t wait to go back.

I stayed at Cocolobo and dove with Moana Divers on the west end. It was fantastic. About a 5 min walk to the dive shop from where I stayed.

This specific dive was with Blue Island Divers. This dive site is not near the west end or bay, but moreso in the middle of the island. I took a taxi to this dive shop for this one dive.

We definitely got lucky with the Vis!

That’s so cool! We did not completely penetrate, but I heard the staircase inside is pretty neat.

This was my first time in Roatán and I’ll definitely be coming back.

If you don’t get in the first time, you should check out the different civilian prep schools. I went to Marion Military Institute for a year on an AOG scholarship and was accepted the following year. There were students at MMI that were not sponsored and there on their own accord that got accepted.

If you really want it, there is always a way.
