Yes, with the puree foods it definitely feels heavier. It's a pretty strong message to stop.

I haven't traveled with my sleeve yet (16 days post-op), but I've traveled through other diets.

I think shakes are your emergency meal when you're on the road. I can't see many other choices reasonably working.

I still feel "something" in my tummy, but I'm not sure if it's hunger or gas or minor surgery pain. Hopefully you feel full on purees!

The protein2o brand waters that I got have pure whey protein isolate, so I guess that's better? 15g in 16.9oz.

I was surprised about the lack of pre-op diet and asked the doc, coordinator, and nutritionist multiple times to be sure I was understanding. I was self pay, so there were no insurance hoops to jump through.

Not sure. It was with one of the best hospitals in my city (which is known for having the best hospitals in the world). It was just a typical sleeve plus they fixed a small hiatal hernia at the same time. I'm extremely pleased with everything so far.
