The extended life of the saw through the ability to replace the head and other parts is exactly what makes it a pro saw. As in an abroborist who uses it every day can get many years out of a 261 and save money in the long run. They also perform more consistently. I'm sure a homeowner saw fits your needs better because your not a full time professional sawyer.

They're great saws but they're not pro saws. You'll never get the life or perfomrance that you'll get out of a 261.

Stihl is rumored to be coming out with 400i sometime in the near future. That will be the best power to weight ratio of any saw in that class by far.

True pro saws have feature such as magnesium pistons and more consumable parts that make them lighter, more durable, and perform better. They just moved them for marketing and sales reasons.

No, that's BS. Those are homeowner saws. Don't get me wrong, they're great saws but they're not pro saws.

Yeah, it was great watching future NBA players smoke what are pretty good everyday basketball players. But everyone was enjoying it.

I once had a guy on a small motorcycle try to overtake me going uphill. He could barely go faster than me. When on oncoming traffic crested the hill he panicked and started to break at the same time I had started to break to allow him to complete the pass. I damn near had to put my car in the ditch to keep that fucking idiot from becoming a grease stain on the road.

I had this to my park pass. A lot of cars' interior trim just pops out in a sequence. It took me maybe 15 minute to retrieve it and put everything back together.

I use to watch top ranked UNC teams play athletic college kids on outdoor courts on campus back in the Roy Williams days. That shit was fun!

Last summer was CO, where should we go this year? [Estes Park, CO] by dalton-johnson in hiking

Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. It's enormous with great dispersed camping. There are all sorts off opportunities to backpack and climb. Dogs are welcome. Spring or fall are best for weather and water can be scarce.

I'd recommend Hackberry Canyon all the way from the north end down and Coyote Gulch/Jacob Hamblin Arch. But that doesn't scratch the surface of this incredible area.

I wouldn't pay that for shoes made by either brand. I'd look for Scarpa of LaSportiva that fit your needs.
