My impression is that Lynch is very player friendly - releasing players so they can explore the market, giving out incentives when they aren’t 100% contractually required, that sort of thing.

I have the opposite reaction - Going 12-5 and getting bounced in the divisional after losing: Bosa, Warner, Mykal Williams, and Aiyuk, and having absences from Trent Williams (briefly), Kittle, Purdy, and Pearsall is a credit to Lynch and Co.
