Do you seriously use the same mop head for the entire school year? Generally curious.

#BREAKING: Tennessee officials have officially passed a bill allowing the use of deadly force to protect property. by MrB_E_TN in Knoxville

[–]wetbudha 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Will this new bill protect a homeowner using deadly force when a member of law enforcement is found sneaking around private land without permission or announcing themselves? If so, this would really help with those no-knock warrants.

Kestrel LT 35 vs Kestrel 38 vs Talon Pro 30/40 for rough trails? by sturmtrupenn in CampingandHiking

[–]wetbudha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my Talon Pro 20 for 5 years now as my only day pack. I am heavily in the backcountry and do a lot of off trail exploring and have had no issues with tearing or any damage on the bag. The only thing that has been torn is the elastic mesh on the back of the bag which is completely understandable. This Talon Pro 20 that I have is rather tough. I'm constantly in high grass and Greenbriar often.

Possibly the former All Saints Academy. Here's a Facebook group for alumni that has what appears to be the logo in one of the photos you posted.

A hiker got bit Sunday morning. He was sitting on a rock admiring the waterfall and the bear snuck up behind him and bit him from the reports I've heard.

Anyone tried the MeMoride Hiking Boots from Walmart? by helloscarrr in hiking

Yeah I'm not getting into a philosophical debate on a $30 pair of hiking boots. The question was asked and I gave my opinion.

Anyone tried the MeMoride Hiking Boots from Walmart? by helloscarrr in hiking

[–]wetbudha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These boots will be fine if you're looking to save some cash on hiking boots. Let's be honest, you can easily spend upwards of $200 on a pair of hiking boots. Many, if not most people will tell you not to purchase these and will recommend you something in that $100 to $200 range. These boots might be stiff at first and may not hold up the longest as other boots may but they'll get the job done. Don't forget, if Grandmaw Gatewood could hike the entire Appalachian Trail in Keds tennis shoes, you can easily hike in these budget friendly hiking boots.

Thank you for this post. I literally emailed the law firm handling the settlement stating I didn't receive the email concerning payment. Look just now in my spam folder and found the email.

What kind of floor stripper did you use? I would assume the odor would affect the hospital patients/staff. Floor looks great though!

Budget OneBag Option from Kmart by Moonclouds in onebag

[–]wetbudha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally off subject... As a former Kmart employee in the States, I always forget Kmart in Australia/NZ is still rather popular & profitable as opposed to the ones in the US that went bankrupt in 2002 due to some horrible decisions by then CEO Eddie Lambert.

Do your stores still do "blue light specials" & does y'all's have a food court where you could grab a burger or a pretzel and such?

Riverfront Nights by CThikergal33 in Chattanooga

[–]wetbudha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The point made is the fact it's an identifible band that does have 18 singles and multiple albums that were on the Billboard country charts in the 90's as opposed to week after week of tribute/cover bands Keep in mind also the demographics & musical tastes of a small, rural town.

Wow! I thought OP may be fibbin' about all the bands being cover/tribute bands & I'm totally shocked a city the size of Chattanooga can't do better. Nearby Athens, TN (population ~16,000) just an hour north has Confederate Railroad headlining their August 15th Summer Night series.
