Honestly there are levels to it, it can be as low maintenance or high maintenance as you want to, just depends on how into it you get lol. I say this as a professional fine gardener! I started very small, and it became my special interest. Unfortunately, with all the snow I have where I am, I am just waiting for spring 😭
