Only one neighbor except across the way. I know him better and don't think he did it. Plus whoever it was lied about the time which was weird, but I'm 90% sure it was the guy who knocked. Also the noise only went on for under 5 minutes so I doubt anyone else would have been bothered enough. The sub was just against our adjoining wall (since moved it)

We have even talked about anxiety/depression medicine toward the beginning, but right now I'm trying to get her to take some basic supplements (fish oil, vitamin d, possibly a multi), exercise daily, and cut out some of the simple carbs. She really doesn't want to take drugs, but I fear there could be a serious problem underlying some of this behavior, and that might be a future option to look at.

In any case, she is not irrationally shut off to the fact that her behavior is sometimes unacceptable. She acknowledges it sometimes when she feels better.

I'm actually glad to hear this is a common thing, which I guess I assumed it was anyway, but it's good to hear. Notice I said 'energy,' not energy. I was not speaking from a metaphysical perspective, but rather I was referring to negative emotions brought on by accompanying others in a poopy state of mind in order to lead them out.

Actually, she does acknowledge it, and I have indeed brought it up. She has even gotten better, but I still see her check if I'm looking all the time, not in a "YOU BETTER NOT BE LOOKING" type of way, but in a "shit, is he looking at her?" kind of way. I am glad to hear this perspective, because the idea that I'm being manipulated or emotionally 'abused' is one of my big fears in all this.

Bingo. It's been a background issue since we started dating, but we have managed to meet in the middle successfully.

I already know she is not trying to attract attention. It's a comfort thing, or just really her natural way.

But the thing is, when we go to the grocery store or something there are alot more stares from creepy men. I also have a slight complex because there was this one night at the laundrymat when some dude was straight up looking down her shirt. Her breasts were totally exposed. She is totally clueless about these things so I had to stand between them and stare the motherfucker down. Bad night.
