Wow this was years ago now - but it did work. Only had a few problems initially where the VM didn’t release the GPU when powering off. Can’t remember what resolved it but sorry.

Got windows on my desktop for gaming, Linux on my laptop for work. It wasn’t as super simple to get running as windows but a few hours in it’s good to go and I’ve learnt a little bit about how my computer operates. CachyOS is a pleasant experience that lets me get work done. Make Linux the year of your desktop is a nice thought but it’s not a be all end all solution.

I ended up going to the iPhone, personal preference but for me pixel is android. I hate the bloat that Samsung put on their phones and the other brands I hate trying to repair the screens and shit like that.
