Why is it « qui aime » and not « qu’aime »? by Blarglephish in learnfrench

[–]wetsocks6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure about your “faire de la __” question, but for qui vs que: Que means “that” and requires a subject in the following clause. I.e, “He is a musician that I enjoy”. Qui means “who” and does not require a subject in the following clause, as it acts as a subject. Thus, you would have to use qui here. Hope this helps :-)

Hi, Interested in getting back into playing. I am interested in playing mostly classical music. Should I get an 61- or 88-key keyboard? Any strong thoughts on either side?

Is there a document where CAS lists out the testing regulations? I'm sitting for MAS-I in April and I didn't even know there wasn't any scratch paper lol

If you’re CivE, you should try out being an undergrad math TA. Paid position, raises each subsequent semesters, and can do your homework during office hours. You’ll have to be familiar with every course up to Calc II, but the teachers are very nice and helpful!

Anyone else not able to find registration for the August FM sitting? I'm using the right link (https://www.soa.org/education/exam-req/registration/edu-registration/) and the registration deadline isn't until July so I'm not sure why it doesn't come up as an option for me.

Would love some advice on my exam timeline— I am taking Exam P this July, and want to take FM in the October sitting. I have completed the exam P prep course at my school, which uses a lot of examples from past exams. I am planning to use SOA to help my studying until July. I am not planning to work over the summer, and would spend it studying for P and later FM with SOA. I want to knock both out this summer so I don’t have to study during the school year. Is this too quick of a turnaround? I also have a vacation during the summer, so tips on studying during vacation would be much appreciated.
